FUCK YEAH! WOOOOOOOOOOT! He's back!
You will note that this Cavs fan kept his Cavs avatar here even when the team tanked, even when they got the #1 pick for an unprecedented 3 out of the last four years, and I even went to the games, even the losing ones. I believed even then, and I (and most average Cleveland fans) were not that upset with LeBron.
Now, I'm going to find some season tickets. I f-ing DESERVE some winning basketball.
P.S. His SI letter completely absolves him of the sin he made with The Decision 4 years ago in my book. What a surprisingly humble letter.

Good for Lebron he learned some valuable lessons over the last 4 years I too like the way he handled this no one should be mad at him now. I feel for D-Wade because I he may not be able to make the same kind of money on his new contract. One domino has fallen lets see where the rest will.

ROFLMAO that is funny!
Too busy watching the games to be posting. It is actual work to be a Cleveland sports fan. 50 years of futility for our sports teams and counting.....and the Indians this year ain't gonna be in the World Series.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
Good for Bron.
I hope this will finally stop some of the needless hate on the guy.
....
Welp Laker fans... guess we go into tank mode again this year.... And hope to reload next year...
Take on expiring contracts? Boozer? Lin?

Good for Lebron. As I've been saying let players play, let markets compete. Miami had a great run.

Well. As I predicted.. Lin is going to the lakers per Woj.
Make sense. Could use the depth at PG, and its only for one year.
Who else do we take for our tank year?

I don't know how good Lebron and the other #1 draft picks will be together, but I will say, Joakim and Pau are going to be pretty freaking good in the east. Great passers and Pau's got someone to play defense for him. Joakim has a person to pass to him, and Joakim, as much as I don't like that dude, has a great basketball sense. Knows where to be, how to pass, etc.
FWIW, I was camping, i.e., had no connections to the outside world this weekend. Crazy stuff.

Melo's contract: Carmelo Anthony's new five-year contract with the New York Knicks is worth $124 million, $5 million less than the maximum, according to ESPN New York sources. Anthony's contract also includes a rare no-trade clause and has an early termination option after the fourth year, according to league sources.

The Lakers have dropped the ball on free agency time hasn't run out but its not looking good and this late in the game apparently don't have any direction. The Buss family needs to get their ish together if they want to stay as prominent and as profitable as they have been.

man....Yum is missing a whole helluva alot.

Ya....I might have to backtrack on what I was thinking about the Bulls and Gasol. Ever since losing that Dallas series, he's been in a funk. Unless he pulls a Tim Duncan and loses 20 pounds, he's going to be very immobile. He's nothing like 09 Gasol anymore.
I like the Bulls, but their training staff is going to have their hands full.
Poor Yums...

Management is the problem for the bulls. they still didn't figure out that they need a SG that actually scores. Unless they have lots of faith that Jimmy Butler becomes Jordan.

Lakers "won" the waiver bid for Boozer.
Ugh. Not a big fan of his, but he's a veteran.

I'd stick Julius Randle in there at the power forward or even small forward by the end of the year. Boozer actually is a smart financial pickup, but I don't think he's very good.
Ed Davis and Randle are pretty good big young pickups. Ed Davis was stuck behind the bigs in Memphis, and they got him cheap. I think he can be good. Of course, Randle is pretty good, plenty of energy. Reminds me of a mix between Lamar Odom (6th man of the year version) with more energy.
With that said, of course I don't think this a championship team. But the Lakers are under the cap, in preparation for moves during the year. I think its pretty important to get a coach now.

Well, Pacers fans may get an idea what it's like to be a Bulls fan. Paul George pulls a "D-Rose"...

FWIW, Rose looked good. Paul George's injury is pretty gruesome. Makes me want to go drink a gallon of milk right now.

Sucks for PG. he's in his contract year as well too. Looks like the Pacers might be in rebuilding mode again. Might as well trade hibbert while he has some value.
