I don't hate them. I think Lebron has done some stupid stuff, but he's grown since then. They play good ball from what I see. I could care less about personalities since they are so far away.
I blame small market mentality and the bitch that is David Stern for the CP3 thing and everything that has happened to the Lakers since.
These next couple of years will be good for the Lakers though. Still have Kobe to put butts in seats, he'll be decent still, and the rookies coming in want to play with him. They'll have room for 2 max contracts next year and the year after, as well as having the lottery pick. And there is no better GM than Mitch Kupchak.
I don't think anything is a given, but no franchise has a better track record of rebuilding and winning throughout the decades.

Well you know the history. It all started off with "i am taking my talent to south beach" and the fact that Miami has to get 3 franchise player to play yet Stern vetoed Chris Paul from going to Lakers.
I think LBJ is a great NBA player but as a person he sux asshole.
with all the shit he has been saying that he will be top 4,5 of all time.
and maybe there must be a reason why he was voted the most hated player in NBA at one time.

Im sure that the Lakers will get 2 max deals; one could be Kevin Love, and other being Westbrook or even Jrue Holiday imo.

I still worry that Jim Buss will run the team to the ground and might tarnish his father's legacy. I'm sure that he will still overrule Kupchack regardless. Now will Jeanie understand it soon enough before the damage is done.

FWIW, seems like many superstars would love to play with Kobe. I think in a sense, they view him as competition, but on the other hand, they sure liked playing with him during the Olympics and he's been admired for his work ethic by many of those guys.
Lest we forget, CP3 was excited to play with him. Durant recently said he looks up to Kobe. Gasol has said there is only one reason he'd be back and its for Kobe. Ron Artest asked to be there.
There was only 1 bitch ass clown center playing for the Rockets that didn't like his style. The other clown center regrets them breaking up. But I don't think dislike of Kobe is really a game stopper. Its about money, location, winning, brand, and franchise, etc, in the long run.

Seems Stern is the main offender for the CP3 fiasco, not the Heat. Don't forget the Heat got screwed by him and the league too when they voided the Juwan Howard (in his prime) contract. Would've been him, Zo, and Hardaway in their primes.

Many people think that superstars don't like to play with Kobe. So far it seems everyone either wants to play with Kobe or play against Kobe. You would really have to respect someone to want to play against him if you were a superstar yourself.
His will to win will push anyone to their limit, if they can't handle the pressure, then they don't deserve to be on the Lakers roster.
D12 with all these stars around him is getting swept by Portland. Bitch ass!!

The Lakers are doomed with Can't oni. Despite coaching the team to its worst season in franchise history, despite an overall record of 67-87, despite the Lakers giving up record performances to average or below average players almost nightly, despite the Lakers having the 28th defense in the league apparently the front office is bringing this idiot back.

I can't believe Sterling's racism is such a shock. If I remember right, the guy refused to rent to specific races in his complexes because of negative stereotypes & yells at his players on the court. He should be ultimately stripped of the team, but they're considered contenders now & the team shot down any notion of boycotting because they know damn well they want a championship.

It's unfortunate for some of the players I say some because I know that some of them know Sterlings a racist and if they chose to play for that idiot then you deserve to suffer the scrutiny don't be fooled into thinking none of them knew. You can interpret it however you want.

What logic. Wonder why Kobe's teammates didn't walk away from the team in the 2003-2004 season.

Fwiw, from who I know in the Clipper organization, as of late, they've all try to win despite him. That goes down to the back offices, front office, etc. He went for something like a 7 year stretch not showing up at practice or at the offices. This clearly isn't his most important business venture.
I feel terrible for the Clipper players to be playing for this guy. But it isn't their fault. I do think after this is all is said and done, hopefully he is forced to sell by other owners. Sell them to Seattle or something.
