Yea but that move is obviously more for next year when we will have Yu back. 2 Elite pitchers.

I think this season is over.

Price got a flat tire on his way to Toronto. I'm going crazy trying to figure out what car he's driving

couple more weeks I heard...

The third baseman will go through anther workout here Wednesday, then head to Port St. Lucie. On Thursday morning he will practice at the Mets facility, a workout Collins will attend. There will be workouts Friday and Saturday and then Wright will be re-evaluated and could be in minor league games by Monday.

If all that goes well, Wright will be in the Mets lineup shortly thereafter. He hasn’t played since April 14. (NY Post)

Go Rangers

I've never watched so much baseball.. I find myself turning to the Rangers games instead of anything else. I hate baseball. I'm scared.

Probably the worst trade I didn't make.

Meanwhile, your cousin is cussing the night Kersh had yesterday.

Because, dude...the guy saved my horrid ERA thanks to Bauer's -showing against the Jays.

One of the finer points in baseball I don't quite know much about: So, the other day the ChiSox placed Robertson on waivers...the Yankees put in a claim...and so, why didn't Roberston end up back in NY...?

And why would the ChiSox do that? Robertson has been pretty good so far as their closer.

Correct, they have a chance, STL is finally sliding a bit. Will be an interesting few weeks, starting with the double header today against the Cubbies

Some interesting races going on.

Texas pulled to within a 1/2 game behind the Houston crabs.

Cubbies are an entertaining squad...don't think they'll go far in the playoffs if they make it but there may be hope for the future with this line-up.

Rangers in!

3 games left vs the Angels. Astros have 3 left vs Diamondbacks.

Either 1 Rangers win or 1 Astros loss and we win the AL West... I can't see that NOT happening.

Wow. What a blown lead by the Rangers.

Angels score 5 in the 9th. Just wow.

The Rangers' "closer", Shawn Tolleson, is a fucking joke. He has not been good all season, no idea how he is still the closer. Choked last night and lost us the game. Choked today and gave up back to back homers 'closing out' the 9th. POS.

Better hope the Astros lose one of their next two.
