Sounds like yet again, Deano has proven himself to be smarter than everyone else.

I feel the need...

Babs is doing what he must. Drive this team to the bottom of the standings. Not that they needed to spend 50 million on Babs for that. But it is what it is.

Are there no band wagons in Chicago? Surely srika is now the biggest Cubs fan EVAR!

I'm the sucker here and continue to be strung along by them and know the other shoe will drop soon.
Why? Cuz, it's the Cubs. The Leaves of baseball.

Only question is, which shoe drops first. The one in Chicago or the one in Toronto. I suspect it will be the one in Toronto. Tomorrow.
IMO, it will be Cubs vs Mets with the Mets taking it. And Kansas City gets there again from the AL.

I like Houston but they aren't as deep offensively as the Royals. Call that series a toss-up and whoever wins in that series will represent the AL.

Well I disagree with you that the Jays don't have good pitching. IF Price can be regular season 2.48 ERA Price he's top 5 in MLB. Stroman, could maybe be as good. We don't really know since he's only pitched 5 games this year. But most experts have him pegged as an Ace.
Estrada has been surprisingly good all year and is likely as good if not better than most #3's on other teams. And then Dickey. Not a bad #4. Bullpen isn't the best but again not bad. The loss of Cecil really hurts though. Their pitching stats in the second half have been good. Near tops in the league.
But a lot of it depends on which Price shows up.

Post All -Star, the Jays have the leagues second best ERA at 3.33.
It was really a tale of 2 seasons for the Jays. Sure they hit well all year but the pitching make huge improvements post all star.

Dickey can be lights-out but with any knuckler, you know when it rains, it can really pour.
Bullpen is so-so. Nothing about it scares me per se. I'm not saying their pitching is horrendous but lined up against the teams still standing, I don't see them as the best one either.
Hitting is kinda like the Cubbies...alot of power but not sure enough smallball or getting on base to scratching out runs. Albeit, the Cub's 2nd game sure proved me wrong. Baseball is a very interesting sport for sure. So many nuances to it.

And there's no suffering here. I watched every major pro team in Boston win championships, most of them multiple times

Powerless play is powerless.

Cabbie, we're all watching Ranger games now because we're all huge fans. We all went out and bought the Center Ice package or whatever the hell its called so we'll never miss a Ranger game. So no need for the updates anymore. We're on it. Thanks

Max doesn't play for them therefor they are irrelevant, that's why we don't need the updates.
