Jonesi was very impressed with Carbomb's fighting abilities combined with some semi-decent hands around the net.

Carbomb (like almost all agitator-types), if unchecked, is a detriment to a hockey team...so, with the right coach, right team leadership, they can be very valuable. Prust plays on the edge...but, clearly, he went OVER it yesterday. However, if you looked at the Habs game last night, they generally imploded...the entire team...so, if the entire team goes over the edge, you think Prust would've reigned himself in? Nope.




Anyhow, I'm always wrong and so, I'm just making up those observations.

If I still watched hockey I'd be really stoked about the Ducks vs BlackHawks series. Should be a doozee!

 

The Ducks are pretty much a sure thing to the Conference Final. The only thing I wonder is if their route has been too "easy". Sometimes, facing hard opposition early and/or dealing with adversity helps in the long-run in the playoffs.

I'm not so sure the Wild are cooked yet. We'll see what happens when the games switch to Minny for Chicago.

 

And the Habs are toast. The Bolts have had it for them all year and I doubt it will stop now that it swings over to Tampa.
