Germany is tough but I am rooting for the little guy (Messi) literally.

Dear Brazil,

This has been a great World Cup. Great defenses, Sweet goals, edge of your seat drama, nail biting PK`s. incredible shots on goal, some budding stars. Goalkeepers stole a lot of the spot light with there unbelievable at times, saves. The venues always seemed to be packed with the help of Brazilian fans and people from there respective Countries.

Signed,
Fan of World Cup

Already seeing the Argentinian flags flying down here. Even passed by Sports Authority to try on some turf shoes and saw a dude buying a jersey.

BTW tried the Sambas. I normally wear a 10.5-11 and even with a 9 they were sliding off my feet. Maybe bad socks? Tried the Nike Davinhos and they felt good. Def will try more at my local soccer store.

Kind of glad to see Holland out. The constant flopping by Robben was too much to take. And Ruud van Nistelrooy is so annoying, but I guess he will reappear for the third place match.

I think Germany will win the final. Argentina's been pretty average the whole tournament. Plus, Argentina looks completely spent, and they only have 3 days to recover. OTOH, Germany barely broke a sweat against Brazil and will have 4 days to recover.

The biggest factor I see is that Messi will be triple teamed which seems to keep their scoring down. Germany has some scorers.

That negative can be a positive, yeah they will get 3 to 4 guys on messi, but guess what, he will have more open men to pass to. And Messi is as good as a passer as he is a scorer.
Netherland in my opinion was the highest scorer team right infront of Germany. These two team was always capable of scoring sooo much more then the rest of the crowd.
Don't forget that Brazil 2 top guys were out, they got in newbs that has very little experience. And Germany exploit them easily. Netherland ( who i think can score as much or more then Germany on a regular basis) was held to 0 by Argentina.
Its going to be a close match where the winner will win by 1 and its Argentina.

15-1. Correct about Germany. Incorrect about Brazil.

Estimated viewers for this World Cup is to surpass an already staggering number of 3.2 billion people from the last World Cup. Almost half the worlds population tunes in to watch the games.

^oxyMORON.

Hopefully Argentina will tire since they had to play extra 30 min AND had one less day of rest.

Such a fun game to watch! I'm glad the final delivered since the semis were a bit of a snore. Also throughly pleased that this didn't end in a shootout.. and that was one hell of a goal to win on!
