that cuse game was pretty good. I got home from work during the 2nd OT. I don't really follow college hoops too much other than maybe the pac10, and was planning on watching something else, but I couldn't change the channel.

Looks like Pitt is on the bubble.

The Big 12 is a freaking minefield.

I've said it before. I wouldn't mind them losing in the Big East if they actually make it past the second round in NCAA..

It's probably an advantage to get some rest. The last few years of 3 games in 3 days or 4 in 4 haven't helped anyone. Syracuse might be feeling last night's game into NEXT season.

Horrible officiating in the SEC tourney championship game. We'll have more of the same in the Big Ten at 3:30 because I'm sure Ed Hightower will be there

Which three?

I'm glad we concur on Hightower's overratedness.

Arizona is a 1.5 point favorite over 5 seed Utah.

25 years in a row for Arizona now.

I was a little surprised they were favs too, but they do have some talent. Hill and Budinger are 1st round guys. Problem is bench is really thin and they suck away from Tucson.

I mean it wasn't literally near death I was just saying if he landed at a little bit of a different angle he definitely could have died.

He'll have a tough time with Bo Ryan's lockdown defense. Wisconsin kills undisciplined teams.

at first glance of the brackets.. I couldn't really pick any upsets this year. I think the biggest one was USC over BC and that's isn't even an upset according to the line.

I don't know how USC won the Pac 10 tourney. They have one of the worst shooting teams in the country. Brick after brick.

I am horrible at picking upsets. I don't even fill out brackets because I go way too much with my heart.

Three #1 seeds from the Big East? Four non-power conference at-large bids? Seven Big 10 teams?

This is just ridiculous.

Michigan State out in the first or second round.

SC just got hot at the right time.. they underachieved all year and shouldn't have even been a bubble team with the talent they have.

Almost like Baylor who had the talent to be a tournament team too.

Creighton has a case over Arizona, but they hurt themselves with that stinker in the semis of the MVC. They almost didn't make it out of the quarters.

The team I think is suspect is Dayton. They were terrible down the stretch.

Which Big 10 team doesn't deserve a bid?

Minnesota, Michigan.

I would almost have put Penn State in over either of those.

Minnesota beat Louisville, the overall #1. Michigan beat UCLA and Duke when they were both #4. They both finished at least .500 in the #2 conference RPI. They both won a game in the conference tourney.

Penn State played a pitiful non-conference schedule. They got punished for that.

Minn and Mich both had 4 of their 9 conference wins against Iowa, Northwestern, and Indiana, who were a combined 14-40 in the conference. Big 10 always gets a lot of hype, and they always fold in the tourney. They are almost as over rated as the Pac 10.

This year the Big 10 had the #1 non-conference record in the country. This included Indiana's loss to Lipscomb. Lately they've not done well in the NCAA but as recent as 2000 they had 3 teams in the elite 8. 2005 the Illini went to the title game.

This year 3 of the 7 teams are lower seeds first round. I wouldn't call that overrated. And Wisconsin as a 12 seed?

I thought Minnesota was questionable, but looking at the teams that didn't get in... it's like flipping a coin.
