Texas A&M should be in regardless if they win against Missouri on Saturday. If they lose, they should still be in based on their record and 5 game win streak and one of the best teams on the bubble; if they win, that just solidifies their tournament birth without a doubt.
Btw, Lunardi is a fking idiot.

I think if they keep the Mizzou game close and win their first game in the Big 12 tourney they're in. They have no signature wins this year, but it would be hard to keep a 23-win team from the Big 12 out.

Lunardi typically gets 63 or 64 teams right in his projections every year.

Let's take a closer look. LSU was unranked at the time and plays in the weak SEC. A good win, yes, but not a signature win. Texas is unranked. Arizona is unranked. What is going to hurt A&M is a pitifully weak non-conference schedule.

According to Andy Katz's new predictions:
Eight spots left among 19 teams (in no particular order):
1. Maryland
2. Virginia Tech
3. Miami
4. Rhode Island
5. Providence
6. Texas A&M
7. Oklahoma State
8. Kansas State
9. Penn State
10. Ohio State
11. Northwestern
12. Michigan
13. Florida
14. Kentucky
15. Saint Mary's
16. UNLV
17. New Mexico
18. San Diego State
19. Tulsa
Maryland has to beat Virginia. Virginia Tech is at Florida State. Miami hosts NC State. URI hosts UMass. Providence is at Villanova. Texas A&M hosts Missouri. Oklahoma State is at Oklahoma. Kansas State hosts Colorado. Penn State hosts Illinois and is at Iowa. Ohio State hosts Northwestern. Michigan is at Minnesota. Florida hosts Kentucky. Saint Mary's is in the WCC tournament. UNLV is at San Diego State. New Mexico finishes at Wyoming. Tulsa must win at Rice and almost certainly advance to the C-USA title game.
We have a damn good chance imo.

What you have to watch out for are teams like Butler, Creighton, Gonzaga, Xavier, Utah losing in their conference tournaments and someone else gets the automatic bid.
I would say Texas A&M is 70% in right now.

^ good enough for me.
All I know is HUGE game vs Mizzou Saturday. I will be stuck to the tv. We win, we are in for sure. We lose, we haev to win a few games in the Big 12 tourney to have a chance.

^ we should. but imo its going to be a lot harder this year because unlike last year there are no clear 'great' teams that have a shot of winning it all. there's a bunch of teams in the mix this year...

A crazy prediction (but it might happen anyway): Mike Anderson's 15th-ranked Missouri Tigers just beat fourth-ranked Oklahoma, which means they'll now close the regular season Saturday with a loss at unranked Texas A&M. And if I'm correct -- and why wouldn't I be? -- the Aggies can start planning for the NCAA tournament, start hoping that if they get there the referees might actually call a foul if they get fouled late on a crucial possession, you know, unlike last year.

Davidson = done. Creighton will probably be outside looking in too. The only mid-majors with a chance at an at-large are probably Siena, Butler, and St. Mary's and all are in their conf. champ. games.

Yea, I was surprised watching sports center this morning. A&M was up by like 16 when I turned it off last night.
There are 48 games being played today. Does anyone know of a site online where I can catch any of the Big12 games today? Even if its just a real time game summary.

29 straight points. Texas A&M just got back on the bubble.
I was watching Portland State last night. They have a 5'6" guard that went for 27 points in the Big Sky championship. The guy just runs around and takes the ball from everybody.

And big difference for Kansas playing in OK City versus KC for the Big 12 tourney.

Got to say these conference tournaments have been pretty good so far.
just yesterday... Villanova buzzer beater, 6OT Cuse win, 3 potential #1 seeds go out int their first games, KU loss.
Just some great stuff
