They aren't as strong as they have been in years past is all I'm saying.. The Big 10 use to be the top conference IMO.

Lowest point total for the Illini in 62 years. I thought they were shooting at peach baskets.

Sure. They need to win 3 of their last 4 and make the semis of the Big 12 tourney.

need to get to .500 in B12 play.

RPI is top 50, nice OOC wins against LSU, Arizona.

True. They can definitely reach .500. They have Nebraska next - winnable but could be close, Iowa State - should be easy win, Colorado - should be easy win, then finish off at home vs Mizzou. Mizzou of course are playing awesome but right before us they have to play Kansas and OU so hopefully losses to them will mentally fuk with them and break them down.

New polls are out..

Can't wait to see a rematch of the PITT vs UConn game coming up. Thabeet looked good the last few games..

In the NCAA I would call it a draw. Blair has Sam Young and a bunch of other big bodies to give him a rest. He needs to drop a few pounds if he's going to be playing the necessary minutes against multiple teams.

No no.. Look at the rosters. PITT has one slow kid at 6'10 then Blair and Biggs at 6'8. If Blair leaves this year they're screwed for a little while..

UConn has 6 kids 6'8 and above. And three of them are 7 footers..

You can't say PITT and Blair have the upper hand in that category. It's ridiculous.

That's why I called it a draw.

In other news, it looks like Oklahoma is kinda reliant on this Blake Griffin guy.

Yea, I would say so. Im hoping we will see the REAL OU team during the big12 tournament. But with that said, I think our young team did quite well against that OU team!

It seemed like part of your reasoning was that Pitt had Young and bunch other big bodies to allow him to rest. Which isn't true. Especially compared to UConn.

Who plays more minutes? The real question should be remove Blair and Thebeet and see who wins between Pitt and UConn. I don't think UConn is a top 10 team without Thebeet and I think Pitt's best player is Young.

Blair is defintley Pitts best player but I can't really answer the question because I don't know how deep UConn is. I do know Pitt would have trouble matching their size.

Hmmm, looks like Blair only shoots 58% from the line. If I was Calhoun I would put all sorts of bodies on Blair. Draw some fouls, get him out of the game.

Sam Young scores more and has that ridiculous pump fake to get himself free.

Yea he defintley can't shoot free throws but can point up more points in one game then the Illinois team and yes both of Pitts loses have come when Blair fouls out

Sam Young has a awesome pump fake but after two years teams have caught on and don't bite as much. Which has made him less effective this year but he's still the most athletic player on the team.

Have you ever been in their new arena? It looks like someone's garage from the TV perspective. The luxury boxes are almost floor level and make it look like about 50 people are watching.

Yea I had season tickets when it opened to about two years ago until they wanted donations or move your seat about the luxury boxes they're ridiculous. The least they couldve done is had the camera on the student section.

^ btw we were down by 18 and came back to win.

And jsut listened to a podcast of Lunardi talking about teams on the bubble and he said of all teams on the bubble - Providence, Maryland, A&M, etc... A&M has the best chance of getting in

Ouch! Senior night seemed to have been more than KU could handle. Voskuil hit 9 of his 3 pointers, place was loud as hell. TT went 15-27 3pt. Have they been doing that all year?

Texas Tech has been a disaster all year. Pat Knight leads the nation in technicals and running on the floor to dispute calls. They've got some talent, but clearly the coaching is not in genes.

Not so fast. LSU and Florida also lost last night, so the SEC tourney is going to be wide open.
