Claimed he didn't know. BS.

UF had the entire SEC in the bag, now they're not even going to win the SEC East.

Pretty sure the longhorns would have a good shot at getting to Atlanta playing in the east. I wouldn't rule it out, but I wouldn't put my money on them in the title game either.

After Bama beat Arkansas, I began to wonder if we would get Gameday being the higher ranked matchup. Then I thought about how I can't remember a game we won when they were in College Station, so I'm glad y'all have it.

Bevo died today. The cow whisperer by his side when he passed said his final thought was, "dying from cancer is less painful than watching UT try to play football."

Kyle Allen - Alabama's player of the game. fucking pos. Overthrowing easy passes all game.

Deserved to get bench. Problem is, Murray looked like absolute shit out there.

From the very beginning, A&M needed to crowd the box and stop the fucking run. What did they do? The opposite. Let that mfer have 10 yards a carry! WHAT THE FUCK. Finally in the second half they made an improvement, but Kyle Allen was still Kyle Allen and had his signature pick 6's.

And Bertolet, don't get me started. The whole bar I was at gasped when he made the first FG. But when he missed two easier ones, and BY A MILE.. kid get the fuck out. How the fuck is that pos out best option at kicker. I don't care if that rookie kicker is 'unprepared' for college fb. Put that mother fucker in over Bertolet. The pos shouldn't even be on the team.

FUCK

As bad as that was to watch, I probably feel better than a Michigan fan. That is heartbreaking.

Also, I'm not sure why you are bitching about Bertolet. We got spoiled by having a starting NFL kicker last year. Bama's kicker is awful, not ours. Most college teams never consider 50+ yarders. If we didn't have a kicker with his range, we wouldn't have put up any points the first half on offense.

UF is a lot better than I thought. Fornette was going to get his yards, and LSU needed a fake field goal with five minutes left to beat UF.

Georgia better watch out. We beat Georgia, and we'll clinch the East.

Talk about choking!

All the kicker had to do was to jump on the ball. What a moron.

All he had to do was sing the humpty hump for 10 seconds. I'm still stunned and in disbelief that it really happened.

I do know Bama's kicker is awful. And I know Bertolet hit 2 50 yarders. But I consider that dumb luck. His other 2 were godawful. One was like 30 yards short. Still have no faith in him. Again, it was more of a miracle he made those 2 rather than him having a good leg or anything.

And yes, we were very spoiled by Lambo.

I dunno. The guy can almost kick it through on kickoffs. Pretty sure he has the school record in touchbacks and led the NCAA last year. I agree his accuracy isn't always great, but kicking a football isn't an easy task. His leg strength is impressive, and if he hits it square, there's a good chance it will go through.

Yea but leg strength is pointless if you don't also have consistent accuracy. I'd rather us have a kicker that is accurate as hell but can't kick anything past 40 yards. I don't want us to go back to several years ago when we had to go for 2 after every TD because Bertolet couldn't make a single extra point... suffice it to there is no way he will make it to the NFL unless he improves his accuracy, especially after they made the extra points longer.

Regardless, nothing we can do

I think my point is that if we are going to throw 4 picks a game for 14 points, our FG unit isn't the problem. He's not great, but he scored more points than anyone else on the team.

If I'm going to bitch at anyone, it's Jake Spavital. One dimensional AF. I would rather hand it to Carson and turn the ball over on downs 4 times than put the entire game on my QB's back. You HAVE to run the ball in the SEC. Whether you gain a lot of yards or not, you won't win otherwise.

Awful. Awful. Awful. We weren't a top 25 team this week or last. WTF?

Thank god for Bertolet so we don't have to get shut out.

Absolutely horrible game by A&M's offense.. seriously.. wtf?

Kyle Allen looks lost. I watched the first quarter. All I saw were runs of a couple yards followed bye a pass for a yard or less and followed by a sack and the same thing over and over. I turned it off midway through the second quarter because we were getting absolutely nothing done and was embarrassing to watch. Frankly, I thought we were going to get blown out by 50, but the defense did a great job.

Still, no idea wtf is going on with the offense. Who/why were they calling all those shitty plays? Never tried to stretch the field. And why can't Allen throw a good ball anymore?

Deja vu of last season with Kenny Hill lighting it up then falling into an abyss. Just wow

Bama was lucky to win that game at their own stadium. I don't think they're as good as people think.

They threw down field. Right over the receiver's head or out of bounds. Our offensive line also played terrible. It's hard to say how much was Allen choking and how much was the o-line getting lit up.

No more top 25. We have 4 mostly easy ones to prepare for LSU.

I'm glad to be bitching about the defense instead of the offense this week. USC played a hell of a game. Glad to see we have our next Johnny Football.

imj, I admitted he wasn't great. He'll never be more than a college kicker. He didn't miss it by much.

I'm a Miami fan and agree that it shouldn't have been a TD. What irks me is how fast they moved on this vs other contorversial finishes and no mention of the piss poor refereeing ALL game, let alone the final drive. Plus many "experts" saying Miami should forfeit their win. That would be a precedent and foolish.

I have seen it twice now, and I can't see anything grossly wrong with the play. What is it exactly that was missed? I assumed a block in the back was inevitable, and I know they threw a flag then picked it up.

One of the laterals. The guy's knee actually touches before passing. Ref is right there.

Ah, yes. I see it now. Also a blatant block in the back at the 16 just before the last lateral.

Told you. One of my colleagues is a Gator (actually 2), and he was saying how bad of a fan he must be because he doesn't wear his school colors on Friday like all the Ag's and tea sippers do. He then asked how they were doing, and I said short of an implosion, y'all will be in Atlanta.

He then said he supposed we won't be there. All we need is Bama to beat LSU, us to beat LSU, and MSU to beat Bama and Ole Miss. How hard can that be?

I guess I'll go hang out in the NFL thread and hope the Broncos make it to the Super Bowl.
