I agree FSU will win out and will go to the NCG. I'm not at all sold by the ACC though.
Auburn could give Alabama trouble. Doubtful but could happen.
Although the media says otherwise I firmly believe if Alabama or FSU loses that OSU will NOT be jumped by a one loss Stanford or a undefeated Baylor team. Especially if MSU keeps winning and we beat them in the B1G championship game. They *could* be top 10 by then and Wisconsin *could* be top 15. We'll see.
However I, for one, am completely and utterly sick and tired of this SOS crap. I don't care if you're getting screwed or being given a gift, it's such a dumb argument.

I won't deny that we have been overrated. It's all media though. Honestly don't understand why people put us under the hype when we are under the massive scholarship sanction. 30 scholarship player loss over 3 years is HUGE. Sure we have a lot of NFL guys on the roster every year, but who cares about that when we are lacking depth like crazy.
Anyway, happy to get that sanction out of the way from next year. And playoff system will certainly make things more interesting.
And yeah, I think Auburn would fair better against Bama than LSU did. Should be a very good game. Will probably watch that.
I'm predicting Bama and FSU will run the table and meet up at the NC game this year. Still believe Bama can stuff FSU in the game, but who knows? Will be a fun game!

that's a bit bold.
auburn will play their faces off.
but we beat auburn.
Alabama will be ready for Auburn, Nick Saban will be ready.
this is why I cant put FSU over Bama in the NCG. if you give Saban a month to prepare for a game, Im not sure anyone can beat him.
Bama CAN lose, but I don't believe its likely he will lose any game of large caliber or one that he's had a long period of time to prepare for. hes THAT good

taking out SOS means that division 2 schools should have a shot at the title if they go undefeated.
like it or not, its too large of a league to have an actual playoff system for every team, somebody has to be held to a higher standard.
if your conference sucks, schedule big name schools for your OOC games and blow them up. if not, weather the storm until your conference as a whole gets better and stfu
I still think fans as a whole are gonna be disappointed with the new "playoff" system.
and there will still be teams that feel they were left out and mistreated etc. etc.

Because the voters put us that high to begin with and aside from the train slowing down a bit (when we had an injured RB & QB) we've done nothing but roll people. What else can we do?
We dropped, via winning, not only once but twice this year. Had that even happened once before? I'm not entirely sure but I don't think so...
Could you even fathom Alabama winning by just by a little over a Chattanooga or GSU and getting leap frogged by a FSU? I can't.
I understand the need for SOS. And it mostly works. But to base your entire argument on it is what gets on my nerves.

I have seen teams in the past get leapfrogged when they win tight games over weak opponents and especially when they are idle.(generally not #1 though) (also, conferences with no title game finally started to wise up to the idle part recently)
its not always fair, but it does happen.

I don't know if it's happened before, but like I mentioned previously, the computers reamed TAMU just for playing UTEP. We beat them 57-7 and took out JFF in the 3rd. But they are 1-6, so the computers dropped us 9 PLACES!!! I am not arguing that it makes sense because it doesn't and is one major reason that computer programmers have no place in sports. 9 fucking places for thumping someone.

You can schedule better OOC games. Cal and FAMU aren't going to cut it.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State freshman quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Jameis Winston is part of an ongoing investigation into a sexual assault complaint filed with the Tallahassee Police Department in December 2012.
Winston's attorney, Tim Jansen, said police contacted him in February 2013, but no charges were filed and Winston never has been interviewed by police.
In a statement, Florida State said, "There is no change in Jameis Winston's status" at this time.
"It was closed in February and it was then handed over to the state attorney today," Jansen said Wednesday. "We've been cooperating with them and we've supplied them with witness affidavits. We hope this case will be resolved quickly in Mr. Winston's favor."
William Meggs, state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, confirmed his office didn't receive an incident report from the Tallahassee Police Department until earlier Wednesday. Meggs, who was traveling, said he only has had the report read to him by an associate over the phone.
"We learned about the police report for the first time today," Meggs said. "I've had it read to me. I think the police department would have to tell you why I didn't learn about it for the first time until today."
Florida State released a statement Wednesday saying Winston's status with the team has not changed. The quarterback met with reporters later without addressing the investigation.

"We are aware of a matter that was investigated by the Tallahassee Police Department almost a year ago," the school said in a statement. "Because the investigation has not been closed by TPD, we cannot comment further at this time. We look forward to a speedy resolution of the issue. There is no change in Jameis Winston's status."
The school was responding to multiple reports connecting Winston to an incident on Dec. 7, 2012. In response to those reports, the Tallahassee Police Department issued the following statement: "The Tallahassee Police Department has received several requests from local and national media for a case TPD received on December 7th, 2012, of an alleged sexual battery. The case was assigned to the Special Victims Unit. TPD is continuing its investigation and has consulted with the State Attorney as to the direction of the case. A copy of the original report is attached to this email, which has been redacted to meet the requirements of Florida Statute 119."
The incident report does not name Winston and describes the offender as being between 5-foot-9 and 5-11. Winston is listed by Florida State as being 6-4.
Florida State is 9-0 and currently second in the BCS standings. The Seminoles host Syracuse on Saturday.
Winston has been spectacular in his first college season, passing for 2,661 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Well Baylor jumped them in the AP poll.
I was like when I saw Bama was only up 3 in the third.
I was like WTF when Auburn pulled off that amazingly lucky hail mary.
And anyone else see that amazing catch by UCF to beat Temple? Better than that one handed Stanford catch.
Next weekend vs LSU and then vs Mizzou

Why is Oregon ranked so high? I'd totally put Auburn and Clemson ahead of them. Probably Mizzou too.
Hell, why is Stanford? #9? Really? Two losses to unranked teams is better than OSU, TA&M, or MSU? No way.
And sure Baylor, if they win Saturday, will jump OSU to #3. But only until we play and hopefully beat a top 10 MSU in the B1G champ game.
The iron bowl will be great this year. And good lord what will happen to the BSC NC if Auburn beats Alabama... Lol
