Mack is effing nuts. He sounds like a cross between George W. and an auctioneer. And a train.

Yea. Baseball blows and our basketball team sucks.

Saturday and Sunday is life.

The conference speaks for itself.

Honestly, I didn't mean to sound like a sore loser. AU deserved to win that game. My beef is with the refs, not anyone cheating.

All the rest of you t-shirt fans, you're gonna need to call up your yard men and get your t-shirts, and your hats, and your belts, and everything back. It's time to get back on the wagon. There's plenty of room.
It's funny because it's true.

I kind of want 3 more years of this to clear the stragglers out. A&m's t shirt fan exodus is just around the corner. I think of these as good things btw, not a dig.

I have seen an influx of A&M t-shirt fans, but it is no where near the level that was happening from 2000-2005. What I find funny is the illegals that come to Texas and want to show their support for the state as a whole, so they buy an orange shirt with a longhorn logo that says "TEXAS" as if that was the state symbol and color. They should have bought a Lone Star Flag shirt.

It's also funny to see students at Texas State wearing t.u. shirts.

I admit I bought an A&M t-shirt a few weeks ago to wear for the A&M vs Bama game. It is the first A&M shirt I've owned since I graduated (I'm like a .01 %er) lol. At least I can say I'm not just a t-shirt fan though

Btw the only 2 times this year I've worn it were vs Bama and Auburn. I'm thinking I shouldn't wear it anymore

SERIOUSLY, put that shit in the back of your bottom drawer!

I wear an A&M shirt pretty much every Friday before a game and definitely one on game day.

This thread for the ACC and SEC , not just Texas A&M! If I keep hearing about Texas A&M much more I will be pulling hard for the Texas Longhorns!

A&M SA? Wat?

I knew of West TX A&M, A&M Galveston, Kingsville, & Corpus Christi. Hell even Texas A&M Qatar, but I have never heard of San Antonio before. Strange.

imj, anyone who is an alumni cannot be a t-shirt fan. Anyone who went to a game is at least a 1%er.

That is the only shirt I have that is not ancient and beat to shit. My brother (a Longhorn fan) visited the campus on a business school trip and brought it back for me. I had no idea it existed before that.

That is what I always called myself. I was way too liberal and city-girl to fit in there easily, but I did enjoy going to the games. And always loved the friendliness of the campus and town. Quite different from living in Northern VA!!

That game got ugly for a bit there, but it was nice to see our 2nd & 3rd string QBs eventually take the field and not look like assholes. Also nice to see our defense looking a bit more lively.

Nice comeback by UM. Undefeated vs undefeated. Hoping for another epic UM vs FSU matchup but, FSU is favored by 21. When was the last time an undefeated and a team ranked as high as UM were favored to lose by that much???

Well, to be honest, Miami doesn't really look that good. You've only beat Florida who isn't any good this year, and you've almost lost to UNC and Wake Forest; the latter of which was at home. You're lucky you don't have to play Clemson too.

IMO Miami doesn't even belong in the top 15. No worries though, once FSU beats their ass this weekend they will tumble.

This next weekend looks pretty boring.

But A&M plays UTEP this week . I'm guessing Manziel will start the 2nd half on the bench.

Unbelievable win by South Carolina in Mizzou!! Awesome! Now, South Caroina is back in the hunt for the SEC title game.
Miami, was lucky to get by Wake Forest! They will lose for sure soon. I think FSU will beat them by two touchdowns or more.

FSU "should" win easily.

but it is an in-state rivalry. i'll be watching.

as for the SEC East, if the only team in the east that can beat Mizzou already has, I don't see SC having the shot to take the east. mizzou should still get to the SEC title game

If Bama gets out of the LSU game alive. it will be Bama vs. Mizzou.

I'm a Buckeyes fan as well....but I'm not too sure anyone can beat Alabama this year.

Unless you're a die hard SEC apologist, you have to admit that there is a "down year" in the SEC. Don't start that "it's a deep league this year" bullshit either. I definitely think it's more of the top teams regressing than the mid and low tier teams creaping up. The strength of the SEC for years was that their top teams were remarkable; LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Florida is a train wreck, Georgia might as well hold it's practices in the ER and A&M couldn't keep a peewee team out of the endzone.

South Carolina is South Carolina, LSU it seems is on the verge of a major upset, Mizzou is a fluke....others

I honestly don't pay close enough attention to other teams to speak to most of what you've said. However, that "peewee" team we couldn't keep out of the end zone is currently ranked #8 in the nation and #11 in the BCS. For what it's worth...

(This in no way is meant to say that our defense is any better than that of most junior high football teams in TX. )

its gonna have to be somebody other than Oregon to play bama, they simply don't have the defense to stop a ground attack from a team like the tide.

FSU seems like the most worthy opponent at this time. similar blowout scores against similar opponents while holding them to 1 score and two at the most. if they can destroy Miami like they are favored to, i'll be a believer.

but it is early yet.

FSU hasn't really been challenged nor have they seen an offensive line / power runner like Miami touts. At any rate, you gotta love those undefeated conference rivalry games. Obviously as a Buckeye I'm routing for the Canes.

I don't know what to think about Oregon. Stanford will be a great game. But IMO it's always the Beavers at the end of the season that can be a problem. Luckily for them it's a home game this year.

Putting aside being a fan, IMO, OSU would crush A&M.

I'm going to guess that you probably haven't watched a minute of OSU football this year. And I've watched quite a lot of A&M.

It's entirely possible in my eyes that A&M will have 4 losses at the end of the year and won't have beat a single ranked team. You've got a good QB that throws a lot and than a very mediocre defense.

those are the scores that Alabama has allowed against them excluding the A&M game.

A&M has allowed....

31, 28, 13, 33, 38, 41, 24
not including Bama.

lets not get in too deep here about similarities.
