I agree. I do have faith in both him and Shogun making the transition smoothly to the UFC. I think, even without heels or foot stomps, those two can dominate. Can't wait to see him face the Iceman!

He has to adapt to the cage! He is 1-2 in the octagon...and his bread and butter was stomps and soccer kick...which aren't allowed in the UFC.

I think he'll be a major contender for the title in early 08.

^1-2 is from years ago, and he has gotten A LOT better since then. But, I do agree with you wholeheartedly on the latter about the soccer kick + foot stomp. I do have faith in him and Shogun though. They are both professionals, and I think they will adapt just fine. I'm sure all of these new ex-Pride fighters coming into the UFC have taken all of the above into consideration esp. after seeing what happened with Cro Cop.

UFC is going to be nuts, now that Pride is gone. I always liked Pride better, I guess this is the only place to go from here. Only thing I'm waiting for is the Emeliankos to come over!!!!!

^Hopefully that will be soon. Dana White is supposed to meet Fedor's management this upcoming Thursday; however, he isn't too optimistic about the signing due to Fedor's # of demands.

With that said, Fedor vs The Natural for an unification of the two belts can justify any PPV buying. Hell, I'll actually pay $50 for the PPV if that fight were to happen. Two legends unifying the heavyweight belt of two of the largest MMA organizations ever existed = HOLY SHIT!
