I will be at the Friday and Saturday games. Not a fan of either team, but never been to Wrigley, or seen an Interleague game.

It's a great venue for A) watching a ballgame OR B) getting drunk. 90% of the seats are great views and there are no fireworks, graphics, sound systems, contests, and of course if you can the see the manual scoreboard you got all you need. Check the wind direction, if it's not out of the south or west, subtract about 10 degrees from the air temp. The fans are unbelievable. They will live and die with each pitch.

Have fun. I went to two games in '07 and it's exactly like what is described above.

Where are your seats?

Section 431 and Section 530. Not the greatest seats, but its all we could find for a large group.

Yep. I am very excited. I love the minimalistic approach to Wrigley along with all of its history and heritage. Since I am not really a fan of either team, I am just there to soak it all in, the sun, the girls, and of course, the Old Style.

Interesting thing to watch is the balls and strikes counter. The guy controlling the scoreboard is sometimes faster than the ump.

The guy with the authentic Kent Hrbek jersey will be me.

Craigslist for a (relatively) good deal, Stubhub for great seats.

Thanks. Would you recommend getting seats ASAP or would it be okay to wait a couple days before? I'm going for a pharmaceutical advisory meeting and am not certain if they have anything planned for sunday.

If money is not important I'd go ASAP. Stubhub's prices won't come down. There's always a good chance somebody will be selling with a week to go on Craigslist, but people and brokers are typically all over that. Finally, you can get 4 from a scalper on gameday, but of course this doesn't look good for clients.

Maybe check here first? http://chicago.craigslist.org/search...min&maxAsk=max

When I was up there people were getting bashed for buying and selling tickets near the stadium

Solid! I may PM you for specifics if you don't mind but I found some reasonable tickets past 1st or 3rd base in the shallow outfield for $149 or less/ticket.

I think you're thinking of Wrigley. Surfer's game is at the Cell.
