ACURAZINE NCAA tournament competition
ACURAZINE NCAA tournament competition
since no one set one up yet, i just quickly put one up on bracketmanager.com, it's FREE and works easily..
to enter a bracket...
1. go to http://bracketmanager.com/enterBracket?clicked=True
2. fill it out a bracket
3. Register (try and use your ACURAZINE username, so that we can see who is who)
4. League 857, password: acurazine

oh and the scoring system is as follows here:
In the Ultimate Scoring System™, each correct pick is awarded points according to the formula
round x (round + seed).
For instance, picking a #2 seed to win its third game means that round = 3 and seed = 2, so a correct pick is worth
3 x (3 + 2) = 15 points.

For the first time ever I picked 3 #1 teams in my final four
UNC over Dook
Illi over Wake
UNC over Illi 84-78=162
Upsets I see:
Utah making it to the 16 over OK
UW vs KS will be a great game
Creighton is better than WVA
other than a few 9/8 upsets
this bracket should follow the national bracket
UNC-Charlotte and NCST will be a good 7/10 game
I think the majority of people see Udubb falling to Gtech
and i'd personally pay $268 (what I have in my wallet) to see Stanford knock out Dook

done, illini vs unc, illini win... i have illini, GT, unc and MSU in the final four and a couple random upsets along the way, basically i hate going for the obvious teams in any sport but illinois is too strong to lose before the championship, and i just dont see anyone except unc having a chance.... but in the end, i think they will win though i am an MSU fan... go SPARTANS!!

thank you buddy i've been preaching that ever since i heard they were a #1...
although they don't have much standing in their way (besides louisville maybe
) but i still got them losing in the regionals to wake

I changed my picks around today and I have Gtech beating Washington and then losing to Wake in the eight
my only other questionable pick is Utah over OK. Utah has just been hot lately. And I don't know, I guess call it a Hunch pick. That whole fucking Austin bracket is pissing me off. The Syracuse and Chicago brackets are easy. I'd be pissed if I got one wrong out of them...granted Texas vs Nevada is a toss up (since I don't know much about Nevada) also So. Illi and St Mary's will be a good game, but So. Illi has more expereience with stronger teams so I think they will prevail. and another good game will be UNC-C vs NCST. NCST has more heart, but UNC-C has more talent.

I don't know if g-tech can take washington, i guess if that jarret jack guy plays good but i still got wake beating washington
