Is there any way that we can set time limits on draft picks????? It'll be fun but let's say like 4 mins for the 1st 5 rounds and then 2 minutes for each round after that.
ppl, pre-rank and draft fast. i don't want to sit at the 'puter all day

The only word is be prepared so can draft as quickly as possible. I have cut it down to 10 rounds, which is still going to take forever with 16 teams.. so BE READY and draft quickly.

Well guys, now that I can FINALLY reply :P to this thread.....
I don't really want to autodraft, but if we can't get it to work, we can. I gave everyone several chances to reply with time slots that worked for them... and the current time slots works for all of them. We will NOT find a time that works for all 16 people.
If you cannot make it I'm sorry. Everyone just make sure you have your pre-draft rankings done, and for those that will be drafting live, PLEASE be ready so we can move quickly, as nobody wants to waste all day on this.

I'm pretty pumped up. I'm in 3 leagues, and am excited about the season starting..
There are a lot of questions out there this year, from stars coming off major injuries to personal moves...

Hey guys...
I think you all should go to the Yahoo league page and test your system to see if it is OK for the draft...
I had to instal some java update or something....... it's ~5700k file..... and it needs to be done before the draft starts..

Are we required to install the Java prog to participate in the draft? or is it just highly recommended?
Reason I ask is cause I like to keep my PCs running as clean as possible, if ya know what I mean.

you will NEED this update to participate in the live draft...... if you are allow Yahoo to draft for you based on your pre-rankings you will not.
From what I can tell, it is more of a software update than something new. ALso, you guys may already have it. My computer is ~4 yrs old and didn't, newer versions may NOT need any updates...

My team sucks!
I got stuck working the hour of the draft, and when I got to login, the draft ended 3 picks later. So, I got stuck with some of my Yahoo pre rankings and then I raided the free agent list quickly!
I will at least have a winning record and make the playoffs. Some of you guys have real shitty teams, others, I can tell were there for the live draft by your lineup.
