I doubt it... that's 11:30 for our east coast players, and the draft will take a while... Is there a day when you won't be at work??

saturdays and sundays after 2pm and before too late on sat cause of early rise. sun night would be good for a later draft. this is just me tho. i could do early just about every day BUT sat and sun.

It sounds to me like ~2pm CENTRAL time may work for more people.. lemme know..
The problem is, I can't pic the Exact time we draft..... I select like a 1.5 - 2 hr block , then Yahoo picks the exact time for us.
Do you prefer Sat. or Sun??

I get the 12th AND 17th picks, so my squad will be nice! After that, who cares. I'll get at least 4 of my top picks, so I ain't sweating guys like Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner nor Randy Moss. I get honest blue collar guys who work hard and produce constant numbers week in and week out.

Last year, in my yahoo league, I just set up my picks and what order I wanted them picked in. Then yahoo's computers did the rest with all the data from all the teams!!!!

It's too bad that we can't choose individual defensive players!
It would make the game more well rounded and complete, but this Defensive pick is kinda like an "Auto tranny" mode.
And I can see how this would separate the beginners from the pros of Fantasy football. But it's all good.
And how come we can't trade draft picks? is that impossible or you won't allow it Commish?
Note: if you guys are worried the computer will fudge up the draft for you, heres a hint for the noobies, click on the Pre-edit Draft rankings and manually select your prefered players in your own customized list.
About the draft date, early August sounds good.

Good questions...
1.) As far as trading draft pics.. I would be all for it. I can't find a way that Yahoo would allow it. If someone knows a way to do this, I would be more than happy to allow it.
2.) TE's. If you guys want TE's we can have them. With 14 teams in the league, some TE's will ABSOLUTELY be drafter and started. 14x3 = 42 WR's/TE's. You cannot tell me that there are 42 WR's out there that are better than all the TE's in the league. On the other, most people won't be able to name 14 TE's, so some of will have some really crappy TE's. With the current setting there should be about 8-10 TE's drafted. There will always be TE's started every week with the current system. Any other thoughts??
3.) Ind. Players on Def is a PAIN. The draft would have to be like another 6 rounds!!! We can do it if you guys want, but I would Strongly recommend not to. Way more work and time than it would be worth.
4.) I'm leaving the draft when it was originally schedule, unless you guys want to move the time of day up, or switch it to Sunday from Saturday.
5.) AZTEC - It's going to be a Live Yahoo Online draft... unless you would like to try to set up a "Net meeting thing"

OK, THE DRAFT IS SET. HOPEFULLY, THIS IS FINALLY.
I tried for as close to 1pm Central on Aug 11th.
