I did the J-Pipe, the test pipe (#3 cat delete), custom exhaust back with 2.5" pipe all the way, resonator delete, mid-muffler delete, Magnaflow mufflers on the rear.

Love the sound! Love the performance gains!

How great of a mod would this be with the STOCK exhaust? I see the improvements WITH the aftermarket cat-back, but was there a dyno with the stock Type-S exhaust?

Thanks!

There are still significant gains with the stock exhaust. While a catback exhaust will help improve the gains it isn't necessary to have one.

Our pricing on the website is the same as that for the forum members, which is the same for the military; it's already discounted.

I was woundering why there are so many weld joints in the j-pipe. Are they all really neccessary? i feel like they could have done a few extra bends before welding it.
Also, is there any warranty?

It's a mandrel bent pipe and that's how they're made. We've never had any of the welds fail on the j-pipes ever. We also have a V2 j-pipe for the 3G TL too.

Excelerate, can you highlight the differences between the v1 j-pipe and the v2 one? and is there a catback exhaust system that you recommend to go with your j-piped the best; I am looking for the strongest low end sounds!! What do you think of the Tsudo...I know it's cheap but very tempting financially along with the jpipe!

The V2 j-pipe eliminates the third cat, makes more power and has more ground clearance.

We recommend our XLR8 catback exhaust. Tsudo is garbage. You get what you pay for.

The j-pipe doesn't really make the exhaust sound raspy. Even the V2 j-pipe, which eliminates the third cat, doesn't make the exhaust sound raspy, especially with the stock exhaust.

Sure, if we can get 10 people to commit and a volunteer to bring in his vehicle in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Yes we do ship to Canada.

http://hoa.excelerateperformance.com/

Shipping to Canada can be calculated by adding the parts you want to shopping cart, then proceeding to checkout, and clicking on "Create an Account". Once there, select your country, Canada, and make sure to type in your postal code. If you do not put in your postal code you will only get a quote via UPS Expedited, but if you add your postal code you will get a quote also for UPS Standard (a Ground service). The customer/receiver will be responsible for any duties or taxes charged by UPS or Canada.

Agreed, but even FedEx sometimes do that also, i'd say it'd be better if you guys shipped using USPS Internationnal, never get "raped" (lol) with brokerage n duties etc.

EDIT: HeelToeAuto sells the xlr8 v2 jpipe and ships using USPS Internationnal, just saying.

I can do UPS or USPS. Just email me at sales@excelerateperformance.com for a quote.

Our V1 j-pipe just replaces the factory j-pipe so you could use a test pipe. Our V2 j-pipes deletes the third cat and replaces the j-pipe.
