Why I am boycotting DC Sports
I am getting tired of this company. They were great to deal with way back when they were based in Corona (wow, can you believe I actually interviewed there back in 2000 for a sales job?). They were still pretty good when AEM bought them. But now they have been bought by some other company (why this brand keeps getting passed around like a doobie I don't know) and they are shockingly unable to meed customer demand by delivering product.
I have gained and lost 2 sales from good customers of mine on this forum in the last 4 months.....and parts were supposed to be in a month and a half ago. And now we are being told it will be another month, possibly two before DC parts come in.
Yeah...COME IN. They must be getting this stuff from Taiwan now or something, when DCS USED to be made all in the USA. There was an auction for all their manufacturing equipment about 8-10 months ago I believe. Youi hear all kinds of crap from American companies now too claiming "we have to outsource, there is no way to build in the USA!" BS. Magnaflow makes all their product right down the street in Rancho Santa Margarita. From raw tubing to finished cat-back its all made in the USA.
So, screw that. We will stick to the reliable and AVAILABLE products from now on. You'll continue to see DCS listed on my site to give you all complete product listings. But you won't here me pushing it any time soon. I won't do that to myself. Providing customer service where there is no supply is basically impossible.

This must be regarding the headers. I've heard plenty of bad things regarding ship dates.
When a company does this they really make the retailer look bad to their customers.

Marcus, last year at SEMA they announced that DC Sports and DME merged and then were bought out by Pilot Automotive. Their production has been crap for the last year. I have barely seen anything come back in stock and I am waiting to see the quality. I think the reason they sold the machines is b/c they are using DME's stuff or they already had machinery from Pilot. Pilot also owns other brands: APC, Bullydog, etc Anyways, it has been a joke and I haven't taken any orders on any DC products in the past year. There is nothing to sell b/c no one has inventory and I don't want to wait on backorders that will never be filled. The new DC has much to prove.

Thanks for straightening that out for me. Still not impressed, as you feel the same way.
Anyway, its a shame that such a good brand has come to conjure up this sort of feeling.

damnit, I also wanted headers from them. I don't want the CT headers because of the rattle =/ So lame. Hopefully they can pull themselves together and start becoming reliable.

The rattling isn't bad me and colt compared a bit, its just annoying cuz the car isn't quiet as it was when it does rattle. Its off an on usually when it rains and gets wet.
That really sucks one guy said his tip fell off of his dc sports exhaust tip and he couldnt get a warranty since they went out of business.
