i have 2000+ watts of stereo, no s/c

i should get the
Ultra Sc 12 Volt Crank Polished Pulley (Part #020611012) $195 Shipped
why would i need this one? what if i get the regular one?

The Ultra S pulley underdrives the alternator by about 15%. You have a very large draw on your alt. b/c of your stereo so it is recommended not to underdrive the alternator. So you should get the stock size pulley.

The Ultra Sc version does not underdrive the alternator. The Ultra S does. Gains will be similar although the Ultra S may make 1-2 more HP.

UR offers stock size and underdrive pulleys. The stock size pulleys do not underdrive the alternator. You would want that pulley if you had a stereo system over 600 watts RMS or a supercharger.

what's the scoop on the stock size pulleys josh? i'll been waiting forever. there's a seller on ebay that carries it but i rather give you the business but i dont know how much longer i can wait. the modd bug is itching me!!!!!

UR keeps having production delays. Their main production guy had his mother die and then he got sick. I emailed UR again earlier today and they told me that the absolute latest date to finish the stock size pulleys is Monday. If they don't finish them then then I am going to NY and I will run their machines myself.

So give me until Monday. It will take a day or so to get the pulleys to me once they finish production.

UR does have stock so I can get it in 1-2 days. It is $195 shipped and $5 for Paypal fees. Last time I sold one you did not need one for the alternator, only the P/S, but then someone said something about UR revised it to not need one w/ P/S but AFAIK you need a shorter P/S belt. UR's instructions on the website still reflect the same idea too.

You would get the stock size pulley if you have a stereo system over 600 watts RMS or a supercharger system. The underdrive will make maybe 1 HP more than the stock size.
