Hey Marcus maybe you can help me out. I bought the Tein SS from a member here and I want to make sure that I have all the correct parts. What I got was (2) Front Strut/Coilover w/Springs, (2) Rear Strut/Coilover w/Springs, (2) Adjusting tools and (2) Gold Plates, am I missing anything? Also, where do those gold plates go? I have no instructions and any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The gold rings are front spring seat adapters. Kit sounds complete to me.
Here are instructions!

I have 3 questions...
1) I see that the SS-P's are compatible with the EDFC but are the regular SS's compatible as well?
2) Are the EDFC modules themselves model specific or are they pretty much universal for all applications?
3) Last but not least, is the EDFC "kit" availabe for seperate purchase or do you have to buy the entire EDFC complete kit to get one?
I have an 01 CLS and I'd like a quote on both the SS and SS-P setup shipped to 14221 minus the EDFC.
I'd like to get the EDFC at some point down the line but this setup is a bit pricy, so I plan to piece this setup together over a period of time so any help would be appreciated.
Thankz ahead of time...

Hi!
1- the EDFC compatibility changes from kit to kit because clearance for the motors is not the same for all the kits. SS-Ps change the shock mounting height to make room for the motors, while SS use a taller height for reduced clearance. In the end, you can use the EDFC on an SS but there is going to be a clearance issue with the rear deck of the car.
2) only difference in the kits is the thread size on the motors (because different shocks have different shaft diameters)
3) For sure, you can get the kit alone!
