I am not 100% about the front, but the rear isn't available in MRP (would have to get another color and get it painted), sides are still available. If the front isn't available, the base front is and does fit with some slight modifications.

I can't check "right away" as we would have to dummy down a fake invoice and would be a hassle as all dealers get them from the same place. Even if we did that and told you the kit was available, another dealer can buy it for a customer 5 minutes after that..so best bet for this GB is to tell me what you want and an alternative if not available....

Not for all colors, just for the ones that are depleted and unknown such as MRP..

Well unfortunately the base kit does not have a place for fog lights, so the modifications would be more than slight, at least by my standards as I don't do body work. That being said, I'm going type s kit in full. As for the alternate color for the rear (and possibly front if unavailable), I'll have to check and get back to you. I will check with the body shop and see what they reccommend. I'll get back to you Monday. I'm definitely still in though.

I have done the install before and I am 100% being honest when I say slight modifications..if your going to a good body shop they should do it no problem as I installed the kit with a dremel and touch up paint with the finish product looking OEM.

Any color should be fine as the shop will just have to scuff and paint, no crazy amount of work is needed to prep as the prep has already been done.

I am referring to the base 07-08, not 04-06...AS I have also installed an 04-06 kit on a TYPE-S and it came out nice as well..

I didn't realize the 07-08 A-spec base actually has fogs. Hmmm. I'll need to think about it now. I will check with the shop regarding cost differences for repainting just the rear vs both front and rear. If its not much, I'm still going with all type s kit as I really like the look. On a side note, any idea on how the type s kit can be adjusted to allow accommodation for an Aem v2? I also have an 08 type s that I bought from someone who already fitted with the type s aspec kit. I just put an Aem v2 in it and it's pressing up against the lower driver fog light, causing it to be malpositioned. There is no way to adjust the intake because there is no room. Trust me, I've tried. Have you (or anyone else for that matter) run into this situation? If so, how did you fix it? I don't have an intake on my 07 MRP type s yet, but it is on the menu. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have never had this problem, did they buy it used/new? Maybe the wrong filter? Get a smaller diameter cone as I did when I made a custom intake and put in projector fog lights.


This pricing is for TLs...I did run a TSX GB but not much interest. I can get the 04-08 TSX 1st gen kit for $860 shipped.

It's too late, but you can start the next one. But if I remember correctly, i believe it is discontinued. You could order it in a different colour and have it painted.

Just an FYI: I received my invoice for my MRP type s aspec kit and paid it. The sides are NOT available in MRP. In fact, there is no MRP available anymore. Not a big deal for me as I was having the rest of the kit painted anyway. I
Just wanted to update you and any future MRP kit buyers. If anyone has an MRP TL and wants a kit, be sure to order it in NBP. That way if you ever get a road chip, you won't see strikethrough. If you get any other color besides NBP, the strikethrough from road chips will be very visible, making your car look awful.

My invoice had the wrong color as well. I was originally ordering MRP with NBP for the MRP parts not available. The invoice said WDP. I just called the dealer myself and they said they would send the correct parts.
