Marcus - I believe the 10x1.5 threading is for the manual? Would it be possible to thread one for the 5at? I am looking for a knob for a while now.

Hey Marcus, on your site there's two options for the Maven knob. Black Ano Aluminum and Machined Stainless Steel. I assume the pictured one is the machined stainless steel but what does the black ano aluminum look like. Do you have pictures of it?

So just to clarify, all the Stainless Maven looks like the picture posted in the link of your first post?

Are all the Aluminum Maven going to be black or black chrome?

The Stainless Maven is heavier than the Aluminum one, correct?

The Stainless is pictured.

The aluminum will be black, anodized, so not shiny.

The stainless is heavy the aluminum is light.

With regards to the height of the knob, is it going to sit at the exact same height as the OEM knob?

And black anodization -- will it be jet black, or more of a deep grey/metallic look?

Thanks.

It sits slightly lower to give a slightly shorter throw

I don't know about "jet" black, but it will be black, not grey or gunmetal.

I'm surprised others haven't jumped on this yet, it's a great shift knob. Been using it for over a year now.

This is the best knob. I've had one for a couple of years and couldn't consider using anything else. I have the original version (no shift pattern, brushed alumnium) and love the clean sporty look and the heft it adds to shifting.

BUY THIS

Marcus: will this knob hold up he shift boot in a 1st gen TSX or will it be like the oem knob and just let the shift boot sit on its own?

Also, what is the all-in price shipped to Ottawa, ON (K2G 6X5)? Thanks again.

I am expecting knobs in about 1 week.

AT knobs coming second production run, I expect in about 2-3 months, hopefully in time for Xmas!

The knob will mount like the OEM one does. The boot on the TSX has no provision for being held in place.

For pricing please visit heeltoeauto.com and add to the shopping cart! I am expecting to be able to ship free to Canada as well.

Will this version of the Maven knob be able to be securely mounted this way (without the collar)?

The knob we are producing is identical to the previous one. There is no new or old version of it.

The knob does not have provisions for attaching the boot. That was set up for the photo or was modded in some way.

I emailed Marcus and he said it should be in this week. So I'm guessing Sept 14-19.

Nevermind, i saw that it weights 472g and it is excatly what i am looking for!! Just one thing to ask, would the black anodized be available for the stainless steel knob or is it only available for the aluminum light weight knob? If you can make it for the stainless steel count me in for one

The anodizing is an aluminum treatment. Steel is not treated with ano. The stainless knob is raw metal finish only. We could probably do a black finish on on for an additional fee, probably $20 more.

Hold the phone Machining is done!

Just need to pick up. The SS will ship right away, the Aluminum will need to be anodized so there will be a little delay on those.
