Hey Marcus, I will be purchasing the CF wing (deposit made). My question is, would it be possible to only spray part of the wing that way some of the CF shows?

As far as I know, you don't have to have it painted. Marcus is willing to paint it for extra $. I want mine semi painted.

Yeah, I was thinking of seeing if he could paint it my stock color but leave the top or just the tip CF.

Putting in my deposit in a few.

Sent in $80. Can I just send amounts in the form of gift certificates every week or two so I can just pay it down that way?

I think that might complicate things but you should check with Marcus to be sure. As far as I know you place a down payment (in whatever amount) and pay the difference once the spoilers are ready.

Number of issues to address here:

Paint, I was thinking offering a partial paint scheme on the CF, similar to how the CD6 Mugen wing was done. See this link for an example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

Payment. Buy as many gift certs as you want to. Although if you keep them up over $80-100 it will be easier for me. And i like that.

Adhesion, we have not finalized yet. We may incorporate a couple bolt holes. But HONESTLY resist the desire to "do better than" the 3M tape. That shit STICKS. it is MORE than enough to hold on parts like this! If you are worried about theft I can't help there.

Yeah, I like that paint scheme. I was just worried about how it would look with not having anything else carbon fiber on the car.

Payment: I'll send two more certs then above those amounts, unless of course you have finished products in the next two weeks, then full payment will be received.

I'm doing it but I'm scared. I don't know how the spoiler will look since there is no CF on the car and I plan to not add any other CF parts.

Hopefully if the scheme is like the wing he displayed above, it won't look bad at all.

So, for an estimate on the price of the finished product, if we get the CF wing, and have it painted our stock color, it will be around $465?

Yeah that price seems about right. Why don't you add some CF pillars. They look pretty nice too.

I do need new pillars, but I think it would be overboard.
