I beleive he has enough. I think comptech is waiting for some parts to complete the next wave of chargers. I think they are expecting everything in by the 15th.

Just to advise everyone! the reason this is taking so long is that Comptech is waiting for the blower units to come to them. They must then assemble units and ship. Once blower unit has arrived, I was told it will take about 1 day to assemble all kits. This is not excelerate nor is it comptechs fault. these are special orders and take some time!

I am sure none of you want to hear this but I just spoke to Comptech. I guess these kits have been back ordered since March. They do have 6 kits coming in but they failed to mention that they weren't for me. I guess I'm next in line but I want to find out exactly. So I told them I want an ET on when exactly the chargers will be shipping for those of you who have purchased from me. I do apologize for the delay. I will get ET's on the shipment of these kits and, when the kits are ready, will have Comptech drop ship them to your door directly to save on any added time.

My shipment of intakes, headers, exhausts, sway bars, etc left today and the only supercharger kit on that order is the 2nd Gen CL kit I ordered. The TL/TSX chargers will be drop shipped from Comptech once they get everything back in order. They are waiting on some parts that are outsourced.

Jesus christ, man. Can I just cancel my order? Does anyone else want to take my place with the Comptech TSX Supercharger? Please let me know. If i knew the wait was going to be so long, i would have not even purchased it.

Well there are a few things you need to consider:
1. You purchased through a Groupbuy. Groupbuys do take time. First I have to organize everyone's purchase and then place the order with Comptech. The reason the price is less is because I can submit multiple orders at one time to give you a break on the price.
2. It's been just shy of one month since payments were made and the order was placed. That really isn't that long considering the fact that this is a Groupbuy and the fact that we're talking about a supercharger kit, not an intake. These take time to assembly and produce.
3. I am not the manufacturer. I can only distribute what Comptech provides and I have to wait for them to produce and they have to wait on other companies too. Not everything is made in house there so some stuff is outsourced and they have to wait on that.
4. It's not like these are in stock somewhere else. There may be a dealer that kept one in stock somewhere but the chances are negligible. You and I have to wait like everyone else.
5. You can cancel your order but I have to charge a re-stocking fee b/c my order was already placed with Comptech. I cannot cancel that order without incurring re-stocking fees from them or if I have to keep the order, then I have to sit on your kit. And if I want to move that kit quick then I have to sell it more inexpensively so I need to make up for that loss with your re-stocking fees.

NJTSXMAN, I am just as impatient in getting my charger too. We really cant blame excelerate for this because he is a vendor and waiting for the product just like you would if you would have ordered it directly from comptech. There is alot of parts included in the kit and sometimes things can be hard to get or tough to keep up with demand. beleive the TSX kit was just developed, so maybe they are backordered due to the instant demand. we just need to be patient. As long as im updated as to what is going on then I dont really have a problem waiting. There is nothing anyone can do about this. Im sure comptech is doing there best to get everything together. Delay appears to be with the out sourcing of the pulleys on the chargers and some peices of the air box. Once these come in, they will ship the chargers. they were unable to give a valid ET for shipment but the sales rep stated about 2-3 weeks. Comptech is really slacking as far as im concerned!!!!

Brett everytime I go to update this thread you have already updated with what I have told you over the phone. LOL. Yes, that is currently what Comptech told me they're waiting on: air boxes and some pulleys. They told me that this kind of wait wouldn't happen again and is unusual. 4-6 weeks is acceptable for a supercharger or turbo kit but there are other guys who didn't purchase from me who have been waiting since late March, early April. Just FYI guys, when I bought my turbo kit from F-MAX (bought out by Turbonetics) it took 3 months for me to get my kit.

I spoke to comptech today. They are extremely apologetic about the wait. i talked to a sale person and assured me that all 04 TL will start shipping next week( ET was the 15th per the sales associate). They said they rely on alot of out sourced parts and it the supplier falls behind then it cause them to fall behind as well. the are waiting on a few parts. i beleive it is the pulleys and peice of the intake.
