This is a really great price if it reaches $125.00.

At that price I will take 2.

And I'm sure some of the guys from LXforums will also.

Thanks
BillyD..

Hi all,

I am a total novice to this equipment but this is something I realy want to get.

I am interested in hokking up the DVD to the NAV. What exactly do I need?

Is there anyone from the northern New Jersy area that can recommend an installer?

Once doing this does it make sense to get the Ipod hookup?

Thanks

You do not *need* the PNP harness but it makes the installation alot easier. No splicing of stock wires.

I'm in for $125 plus the PNP harness. Where and how are people mounting the box? Are people attaching a rear camera, factory or 3rd party, is it working the same, better or worse than the factory kit, still moving the trunk release? What are people attaching for a DVD player and how are they handling audio?

With mine and six on the G35 thread, the number is now 21, which qualifies for $150. I emailed for more info; if they have one that fits a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee nav, I'l buy another.

I'm using the Mediagate MG-25 portable mediaplayer that has a hard drive. There are plenty of posts about it. It's called either the Mediagate MG-25 or the Avox AVX-100TX. Same product different look. It plays DVD files, mp3's, pictures. Mine is being shipped as we speak. For audio, I'm using the PIE X3 that alot of people use.

Dom, if I go in on the group purchase, can I have it installed in your shop in NYC? What do you charge for installation? I'm in Central Jersey and getting up there wouldn't be a problem. TY for the response. If it's yes, I'm in

Hi BillyDs
Please note you must be VERY good at soldering to do this mod on a Dodge Magnum. If you are not don't try it or you may mess up the radio.
Thanks Dominic www.TVandNav2Go.com

someone can jump on my spot right now. I didn't end up getting my RL last weekend, but I will be purchasing an RL withing the next month or two... once that happens, I'm back in!

Dominic, can you also let us know all other components we will need such as DVD player, wires, etc. I would like to see a full list of everything that will be necessary to make this work for DVD and backup camera. Couldnt find this kind of list in your website... thanks

Are people attaching a rear camera, factory or 3rd party, is it working the same, better or worse than the factory kit, still moving the trunk release? What are people attaching for a DVD player and how are they handling audio?
First of all the unit is AMAZING...with that being said, let me answer some questions...i personally had the box mounted on top of the factory nav-dvd-unit...it has a strong velcro adhesive and is velcro-ed to the nav unit in the trunk...the video wire is run all the way to the center console (armrest) where I have my DVD installed...I had to cut the plastic part of the center console so the DVD player would fit and to connect the wires...As far as Audio for vehicles equipped with XM I Highly recommend the HON/AUX DMX V2x by Blitzsafe...Soundgate does make an aux input called the SNHOND3 which WILL NOT WORK WITH VEHICLES WITH FACTORY EQUIPPED NAV AND XM...it's a aux adapter which plugs into the bottom of the stereo where the XM wire is connected and has a Y-Adapter type connection where the XM goes back into the Y-Split...and then has red and white RCA hookups to which I have wired back to the center console (armrest)...I personally like the Blaupunkt ME-2 DVD Player you can also look into the Blaupunkt ME-3 If you want a TV Tuner, but for me it didn't make much of a difference...feel free to contact me with questions...I love the unit, and do not regret getting it at all...just as a side note, unless you really know what ur doing with wires, i would get the P-n-P (Plug and Play Harness) it makes things a hell of a lot easier...its literally plug n' play...the only wires you need to really install, are tapping into a power source and grounding the unit, which aren't too hard to do...and also wiring the switch to toggle between nav-dvd mode which i have wired up to the factory deletes on the switches panel...
