ive had these on for about 2.5 weeks now and there is a very low, deep tone that comes from them when the brakes are applied from highway speeds. nothing bad or annoying but im guessing its from the ceramic pads.

Longevity of coating is directly related to the environment they are exposed to. Being in Canada you'll get less useful life out of the zinc coating but they will still resist corrosion longer than blanks, e-coated (oe type) or painted. As for the slots/holes - as long as the car is driven on a regular basis you shouldn't develop any rust accumulation in them.

Actually it is due to the machining on the friction surface which is normal. As the pad rides over the slot it will compress and decompress - the result is what is described most often as a chopping or 'wooshing' noise. The more line pressure and speed the more pronounced the noise is. It typically gets better over time as the rotors/pads wear in.

Any update on the ETA for the TL-S package? I'll be one of the first in line once they come in.

I somewhat noticed this also after I installed the complete rotors/pads set on my IS300 yesterday but its very very minor. My stopping power is WOW, AMAZING now!! Thanks again VERY MUCH and I will be purchasing a set for my other cars also when they need brakes.

Hey guys, right now the ETA on the TL-s parts is indefinite. As soon as I have concrete info on when they will be here I'll be sure to post. Sorry for the let down!

We use a direct checkout system for forum orders so I just need an email address to send the checkout link to. From there you can complete the sale with paypal, debit or cc when you're ready. Feel free to give us a call or pm me for a direct checkout.

Thanks,
Sean

Brakes and Rotors Have arrived.

I ordered on Monday and received the package Saturday afternoon. The only headache with doing all this myself was removing the two screws holding in the rotors. Woooow!!! Thank God for WD40 and impact drivers. After getting these thing on I went about the break in process called "bedding". Everyone seemed to have a different procedure so I just chose one and ran with it.

The sound of the brakes are probably the best thing besides the stopping power. I wish I could describe the sound to you guys but everyone who has purchased from Brake Motive already knows. Woooooooosh!!!

TL 6MT/TL-S rotors....

It's been 7 weeks now. Can't wait any longer. I'm down to 23mm thickness (service limit) and I have a 10% coupon for Ebay that expires 1 May.

Unless you can get something in stock in the next week, I'm going with these guys:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Sorry.....

Sent a PM. Looking to get an invoice sent to me for all four rotors/pads for my 2005 Acura TL. Emaila ddress is cicacci2190@yahoo.com (also paypal email).

Quick questions:

1) Manufactured by PowerStop, I am assuming its the same as the drilled/slotted ones they offer?
2) Whats the warranty on these?
3) Are these in stock? (Non Brembo - standard front calipers)
