tran10, i placed my order with kim on tuesday and ups says that the package will arrive at my apartment on friday.

also, i just bought the usa spec pa11-hon2y unit from crutchfield for 149.99 with free shipping. they have them in stock finally. some other places have them at a lower price, but shipping is extra.

i've got something in store for yall. i'll take pics of the install and the final product and hopefully it'll turn out as i'm imagining right now.

Has anyone found any sort of how-To for installing this with a backup camera? How does it work? What does the little switch on the line control? Input 1 vs Input 2 or TvAndNav2Go vs. navigation?

i will be installing dom's unit with the kenwood backup camera this weekend. i'll have pics and a write-up by next week. the switch on the line is for the dvd playing. if you turn the switch on, the dvd will play on top of the navigation. if the switch is off, the regular navigation, audio, etc., will be displayed. if you put the car in reverse though, dom's unit will automatically override both dvd and navigation and will display the backup camera. you must tap dom's unit to the reverse lights so that when they come on and get power, dom's unit will know that the car is in reverse and change to video input 2 (backup camera).
