Al Lopez park is always nice...we have covered areas to sit..if we wanna bbq I think they have stuff out there. Im not sure if we need to reserve anything or just get out there early.

Good call! I forgot that the Gran Prix is the same weekend. I will meet anywhere that you guys want. Al Lopez park sounds good. Also, I think it would be cool to get some shots by the water so Gandy might be a nice spot since we can pull right up to the water and it is right off the bridge for people coming from Tampa. Just a thought

Al Lopez is perfect! Some rent or schedule the shelter huts but sometimes we can catch one available all day not rented. Even if so, there is plenty of benched areas to squat and bbq around the grounds, thow some football, baseball, photoshoot...whatever.

I am just excited already just knowing for the first time other AZ/TL members are getting together near my area to make it possible for me to attend, and not the ordinary local ( forum...LOL! isn't that right Klepto?
)...Orl. is just to far for me. It would have to be a BIG event for me to ride out there.

No way! I go to school right near Al Lopez. I'll try and convince my dad to take a ride with me since he is into this kind of 'stuff' and it would be really cool to meet the Tampa gang.

the worst part is, i was sitting in my car when it happened at my children's school.
the dumb ass father wasn't watching his kid while he was getting out his SUV and slammed the door into my rear passenger door. i opened my door and he goes - referring to his son, "looks like he got you."
it took everything in my being not to explode because it wasnt his childs fault it was his. i just mumbled 'fuck' because my two kids were in the car, his son was right there and i don't want to be THAT guy at my kids school. i just closed the door after i mumbled the word and didnt say or do anything.
