I just threw it out as a late idea as it was something that never crossed my mind originally. I figured I would see what people had to say about it.

 

Does the karting place have a large parking lot? If so we can all drive over there and whoever doesn't want to kart, can stay out with the cars and such. I would like to kart but I want to get some decent pictures with all of the cars as well.

 

Well I know of two karting places. The one suggested by Junior and one up in Mooresville. We used to have weekly meets at the one in Mooresville for a little while and they definitely have a large lot for sure.

It appears that The Pit has a much larger parking area however it is a little more than 2x the distance from Taco Mac.

I guess we could just take a poll from everyone after lunch and see what they want to do.

 

Still also trying to find a good place with a large lot for pictures if that is all the vote is for as well.

I listed all of the parking decks I know of that would accommodate our group that are free.

 

Ok so how many of these have roaming security cause we need to scratch those off. I know the mall does as I have been kicked out of there for doing a shoot at night at least. Maybe during the day we can get away with it if we are on the top level and out of the way.

If you're at the mall after hours, yeah, they'll frown on it. During the day, you just say you're going to the mall if they say something . We've never had a problem at CP, day or night...or Ballantyne (day). I don't know about UNCC.

 

Okay guys just a back up plan, my job will be open and working Saturday. My boss is cool as hell and will let us chill at our big ass parking lot if we want. Its down the street from Cars and Coffee.

SO what is the schedule?

 

The schedule on the first page is still in place as I have only seen about 4 people really interested in the karting so far. I mean the meet a C&C and TacoMac will stay the same regardless so we could always change to go karting if enough people show an interest in the morning.

 

UNCC should be okay for shoots there is generally very little security for parking at least on the weekends. Plus the cops on campus are generally cool as long as no one is an idiot and does a burnout or is blasting through campus. . . Where do you want to park at C&C the lot by the Olive Garden? It's probably the best option. I'll try to get there like 7:30 at the latest to get some room for everyone. Just look for the silver CL-S 6 . . .

 

So what r the plans for the meet. If I go ill be there late and I would like go know where everyone would be a certain time.

UNCC sounds good and since we will already be down there it won't be that far to go to from TacoMac.

Yeah I would suggest the OliveGarden parking lot as well. I hope to be there by 7:30 too but it might be 8 if I don't get the car washed tonight and have to do it in the morning. It is filthy looking right now.

 

Yeah I took care of that last night but I'll be up early tomorrow to wipe it down again I'm sure there will be a ton of condensation on it. . .

 

I'm bringing another Acurazine member with me from the Raleigh area. He's got a 06 NBP TL on CR-Kais. We will be leaving here around 6:00 and should be there by 8:30. I think we are going to stop and Chick-Fil-A breakfast on the way so that's the only reason why we may be a little later.

Tyler and I got kicked out of the concord mills parking lot by the mall cops. And we weren't even there 5 minutes, during the day after one meet we had.

I'm looking forward to Taco Mac. I'll just hit up the car wash on the way. My car isn't special anymore since I went back to stock.

Car washed and vacuumed. will do the minor detailing I think in the morning. A buddy and I are coming up tonight to hit up some bars and/or clubs if anyone is interested in meeting up for some drinks. Got a PM earlier today from some locals in my area that are going to come up for the meet that aren't on the list. I think we will have 25+ if everyone shows up .
