So it doesn’t look like we have a for sure spot as of yet and to be honest I’m not really feeling the Rick Case Acura idea either so I have an idea. Why don’t we have several spots throughout South Florida and times as to when we will be hitting each of them all up. Why just one spot?
Example: Meet Start: Rick Case at 11:30 am.
All leave at 12:00am to Ft Lauderdale Beach were we all drive down the strip. 12:45ish all drive to another spot in Miami were we can all eat lunch and chill.
1:45pm all drive down to another spot in Miami...and so on.
Not only will we be able to show off our cars throughout the city but well also be able to take some great pics in different spots while enjoy all of our surroundings.
Like a Traveling Mega Meet. I don’t know Miami too much, but if anyone could think of a nice drive in Miami other than South Beach that would be another great place to travel through. IDK..Like I said, it was just an idea. Personally I like to drive and would better enjoy traveling around than just posted up in one place.
Either way though, whatever it is, I’m still going to be there

 

That's actually not a bad idea...
And someone with a smart phone can update where we're at any given moment.
I suggest we get a confirmed 10 cars before we plan it. There's a fine line between a cool rolling megameet and 3 homos in acuras following each other around around town.

 

sounds like a good idea. might be hard to keep everybody together. I know some people like to drive fast while others like to drive normal. hoping cops won't be a hassle if we were to drive in such a big caravan blocking a lane.

last drive meet we had we hit traffic on i95 and got totally split up, we lost a few ppl who just went home, some ppl didnt want to do the drive so far from home and others showed up at one of the later locations instead of doing the drive. i think a drive makes things too complicated, especially when its a really huge group

Thats why every stop will be timed and marked. In the event people get split up, they can always depend on the next mark. I remember the i95 drive. If we can all take 1 to 2 lanes im sure we can make it work. We just need someone to map out a good rought and time.

 

I have a smart phone and can mark our postions if need be.

 

I am starting to lean toward a PLACE too...let's do parking lot of Towers again (like that day we were going to drive up to WPB)...pretty easy to get to for all. Let's do 11am at Towers...hang for an hour or 2
Grab a bite to eat and call it a day.

 

we can ride around city place and meet up on the roof top of the parking garage.. just a thought.

PS...C'mon guys, let's pick something fun/fair. I REALLY like Markham park because they don't hassle you if you just pull in and start parking cars up...and there are SO many places to park and take pics etc. Could be easy too...couple bags of charcoal and some beers...can grill some things.

I don't want to be a pain but if nobody takes charge and picks a spot. It ain't gonna happen or it will be a weak azz 3 car meet. Markham is 1.50 to get in on weekends...easy to get to from WBP and Dade County (and obviously Broward).

If enough people commit to go, I'll commit to bringing charcoal and having a grill going for an hour or 2. Just bring your own food/beverages.
