Next time I'm going to scope out the place better. Need to find an area with a pavilion and grill area.

It's hot...sit in the shade then. 2 or 3 hours is plenty to meet, the only people complaining are the ones that can't be on time to something and try and show up 4 hours late, tbh, I don't really have a lot of compassion for that scenario.

Rockstar is right I would only come to look/talk/eat&drink chill then till next time lol.but next spot should be at trandwinds which will have shad & grille plus we can have a little music which will make the meet last longer as people won't just come then leave. But if everyone is on time a 2-3hr meet is just fine.I can have the food ready for the next meet cause my family likes to cook I'm sure everyone will enjoy it..

I'm just talking from perspective how to keep meets longer and more frequent. East coast is so stiff and lazy sometimes. This is why I like the west coast more. Seems like people there want to bond more with other enthusiasts

My lack of desire to go carting or find shade and air conditioning is a sign that I don't want to bond? I've made some pretty awesome friends from car meets. Usually in full sun, sweating and all (you included).
That has nothing to do with which Coast you're on!
I just think it's funny you criticize it when half the time you show up late because it wasn't a big enough priority for you to go to bed and stop drinking before 4am the night before and you almost never post any pictures you take!
In addition, I don't want to be questioned since I'm usually one of 3 or 4 people that actually bring stuff or plan stuff and show up when I say I will be there and pick a park and pick a spot that's conducive to pictures. Like the last meet, I had enough food for me...but when the crowd got big and showed up with nothing...Marcel, Austin and I went to buy a ton of extra food and charcoal only to come back and 70% of the people had split.
Changing times or locations to accommodate more people isn't the solution, people showing up to something that's supposedly important to them while everyone else is there is what needs to change. Trust me, I'm not butthurt that more or less people show up or how long they want to stay. I don't mind people being late or not showing...but I'm not going to take the complaining and I'm certainly not changing the way we meet to try and cater to them.

lol. i know you're not butthurt nor am i. Plus not saying you in general on what your preferences are. but saying on what my experiences are and what drives biggers meets and people having fun. Yes you can have fun meeting up and just chillin. But you know of all people you can only stay in the sun so much down here in FL. Plus everybody saying that it was a 2 hr meet doesn't help to bring more people to the meets who are driving from far distances ie: Predatorbird. (sorry to use you as example man)
btw me being late to one meet doesn't mean im always late. i just don't wake up crack ass of dawn on sunday of most times.
