NE or Central FL Transmission Repair

Any one know a good transmission shop in NE Florida, Jacksonville, Orlando, etc. Would like to get a quote for a 2019 RDX Transmission. Trying to avoid the high price Acura Dealers.

Can't recommend an independent transmission shop but if push comes to shove, you could try a Honda dealer as their labor rates will likely be lower. I believe the RDX's 10 speed is the same used in the Odyssey (upper trims) and the Accord 2.0T

Do you have an AWD or FWD RDX? Try to find a shop that will let you source your own transmission if possible. Most of the time they won't warranty the labor or the transmission since you brought the parts. Much better than buying a trans at an inflated price for new/refurbished + the labor.

The big issue is that Acura does not sell a complete transmission new, it's listed as discontinued for both FWD and AWD models. You can buy parts for the trans, but the parts alone will add up to more than $5000.

There are quite a few used ones out there that vary in price. I used zip code 32034 for jacksonville for the distance calcs on the right most column.

AWD - $600 to $2200 for a used trans: (the $600 one got cut off, you'll need to visit car-part.com and search for "transmission" as your part.

FWD ($500 to $1100):
