Hi all, new here just bought my 3G in Feb of this year, i'm located in Durham but work in Raleigh. Ive seen a few nice TL's around and saw a silver one in Raleigh with exhaust sounded mean.
I actually have a question although it may not be in right place but wanted to ask you locals...anyway my TL has a power steering noise...I did remove is and replace the o ring on the black plastic part that bolts on to the pump. I also bought a rebuild kit and took aprt and installed it. The things is, I had gotten the timing belt done and my budy removed the pump and installed it after job was done. I drove up the street and quite for all of 2 mins...Normally I would replace it but something is telling me its gotta be something else. Now with the car idle it has the normal power steering noise turning the wheel full lock left or right. If I actually move and start turning to either direction that when u hear the noise. I am wondering if air is maybe getting in the suction side but it would be nice if a local could help me figure it out before just spending money on a pump. any takers?

I have been slacking on this and we are definitely due for another meet as it has been a good while. I am finally starting to get situated in my new house after almost a year and work should be slowing down here a bit over the summer months. That should give me some time to get something in the works. Maybe something in the late July early August time frame.

Raleigh / Cary / Apex / RTP / NCSU area. So glad to say I found local mechanic to do the TL AV6 / Odyssey transmission swap! Just got it back on the road and it shifts better than ever!
There's "peace of mind" knowing that I now have a next-gen auto 5 spd transmission instead of a bandaid solution!

I love the 4G 6MT. Been looking for a 12+ with the Umber interior for a while but it's pretty clear not many people are letting theirs go. I wouldn't if I had one either.
I love the MDX/ZDX accessory wheels and perfect ride height! Nice to see one not slammed for once.
Thought I should pop back in here. I wrecked my '93 Vigor back in 2019 and then later bought another, a '94, and then again two more '93's in the middle of 2020 lol. Five cylinder noises!
Still dallying an 04 TSX and partially the '94 vigor. You can find me at The Tail of the Dragon or at VIR or NCCAR most times any big event is going on. Otherwise I stick to the RDU and Triad areas. I'm in the process of prepping one of the '93 Vigors for strict track use but all of my cars are moderately modified at this point. It's too contagious to stop.
