How about Olde Town.....I believe it just West of Disney which makes it kind of a mid point..... I've never been but I hear they hold car shows there all the time which means they should have no problems, plus there are plenty bars, restaurants and attractions there. Just a thought.

I usually stay off I-drive when i go down to Orlando, and have never been past disney world down I-4. It looks like the new LEGOland is between Orlando and Tampa, so if you guys want to meet somewhere along I-4 that's cool.

Why not do both places and have 2 meets? Also, the Pier in St. Pete would be very scenic since it would have the bay with all the boats and skyline in the background. I think if we have all our cars together it would be a great opportunity to do a photo shoot somewhere that would compliment our sexy cars and make it worth the drive.

I just discovered moments ago that LEGO VIP members get in free to the new park oct. 24-30. So now i have to decide what to do. Either be impatient and visit the park opening weekend or wait two weeks and then go. It will be about 3 gas tanks worth of savings which is substantial haha.

^Yeah, that is a substantial savings! Maybe we could push the meet back to the 29th or 30th? We are still a month out from the original dates. Either way, let us know what you choose to do.

I'm leaning towards taking advantage of this massive savings and heading down there on the 28th instead of the 14th.

Last time I went down to Orlando, I bought some LEGO sets from the downtown disney store, and it turned out that those actually became investments. There was one that i bought for $90, and the other for $140. The $90 one now sells for 10 times the original value, and the $140 one can sell for 6 times the original value...which is incredible. If I had only 'knew' this was going to happen, I would have bought 50 of each.
