Yea. I only know the Orlando area. Particularly around UCF. I know a lot of places out here are cool with car meets happening in their parking lots as long as everyone is responsible and brings them a little bit of business (like a frozen yogurt place). Does anyone know of good places in Tampa where we won't get robbed or arrested? Lol

If we meet in St. Pete, I have the perfect location. How does Fort De Soto Park sound? It has tons of parking and is rated as one of the top beaches in the nation. Perfect for a photo shoot! They even have grills set up to cook up some flavor. It could be a car meet, BBQ, and beach day...

Fort De Soto is an awesome park. So are we settled on the date 10-15?

Also, I wanted to break down which area had more members attending so I just broke down the list by area (1) Tampa (2) Orlando. I realize not everyone lives in either Tampa or Orlando but I just wanted an idea of which area would be better to meet. I wouldn't want 15 members from Orlando to travel to Tampa to meet 5 of us and vice versa.

I'm in. Just a suggestion, Hooters in Lakeland @ exit 32. Easy to get to because its right at the exit. No one can miss it. They have a huge parking lot and host a Miata meet every so often.

i personally think de soto park would be a great place for a meet, sure its kinda a drive for orlando ppl but orlando is a drive for us as well, as with miami ppl, so really a great place for a meet is worth the drive, just my $0.02, i'll go wherever the meet is, i just think it has everything to offer for a meet to succeed.

maybe we need to put this to a poll with locations and dates so we can get the ball rolling faster on this, that way people can have adequate time to plan or just choose, someone's gotta make the decision.

i vote for desoto park, b.c i'm seeing more orlando ppl on the fence about the meet then tampa ppl.

Yep Eric still lovin my TL, have recently done a few more mods...waiting to reveal some pics at a later date!! Just got a 99 Accord EX for my DD, so the TL gets to chill in the garage....hmmmm maybe time for a little SC boost???
