Hey all,

I've been a lurker here for a while now, having a voice every now and again. Been looking for a TL for a while now and I finally think I found one.

Only one problem, it's not in my area and don't really have much time to go test it, etc.

I'm currently in Buffalo,
The car I'm intersted in is somewhere around to Sarasota, FL. (within 1hr drive).

Everyone here is pretty knowledgeable and there seems to be a kind of kinship here, so I was wondering if anyone would be able to take some time out of their schedule to go test drive it for me. It's a 6MT and just get back to me on how it drives, how the clutch uptake is, body, overall condition, etc.

Of course if someone were willing to do it out of the kindness of their heart I'd be greatful, but I can def. pay you something for your time/travel/gas/etc.

If anyone's avaliable, please PM me and I'll give you details on the car and location, etc.!.

Actually, it's an Autotrader ad from a dealer in Florida,

I've already called the dealership, verified the Carfax, verified the car with Acura Client Care (records/ recalls),

And the price is WELL above 3K. it's about the market price and within my budget. Only thing is that I'm not in the area to actually test-drive the ride and the nature of my work doesn't allow me the time to go and do it myself.

There are companies out there that you can contract with to do an inspection for you. Try doing a search on the interwebz for that? I'm out of town this weekend, otherwise I would have done it for you.

Generally, they will go out to see the car, inspect it for damage, test drive it, then send you a comprehensive report with pictures and a narrative to indicate if the car needs any work- generally, the charge is $99-119, but if you really want a specific car, it's better to pay this up front and not get taken when you actually get the car.

My brother did this when searching for a 300ZX this past spring- he got a complete report emailed to him, bought the car, and has been very satisfied with it (he lives in CO and the car was in IL).

This is a nationwide service.
