Did you know what we also have a caffeine and octane meet/get together every month? I see in here that Charlotte has one as do others.

It's been around for 3+ years now and has just moved to a new location in Alpharetta. It is the first Sunday of every month, from 8 am to 11:30am or thereabouts. The event is now located at the Mansell Crossing Shopping Center. There is an AMC theaters as well as a Barnes & Noble/Starbucks.

I highly suggest anyone and everyone come out to see some of the rarest and most exotic cars Atlanta has to offer. You'll also see a lot of the specialty cars and replicas. It's a great time for the whole family. People even bring their dogs!

 

Hmmm, I'll have to check out the Charlotte one. Never heard of Caffeine and Octane. Sounds like a rip-off of Cars & Coffee. But whatever they want to call it, I'm always down for a car show

 

I think Charlotte does call theirs cars and coffee...which is a lackluster name, IMO.

The best turnout are the ones in Spring & Summer time

 

the previous location stated they had a new restaurant coming in and required parking for the business on Sunday mornings for his employees. Unless they are planning on new construction, it's all a bunch of crap.

 

Yeah, did some research, all we have here is C&C. Funny you don't like the name though, b/c when I saw Caffeine and Octane first thing that came to mind was "what a crappy name".

 

Same here. Caffeine and Octane makes me think of a fast and the furious type meet. It's like they didn't want to pay for naming rights for C&C.

But from what I saw online, it has a good turnout, so whatever, it's all good.

What types of cars have come out for the last few?

 

just about everything. old muscle cars, new muscle cars, LF-A (first in the country, registered as #3 as Toyota kept 1&2 for themselves), imports, etc. Lots of Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, etc...

last month (even though it was cold as shit) there were 700 cars that showed up for this event. That's a LOT of cars for such a cold day.
