Any interest in doing an after work meetup on a weekday somewhere here in the metro ATl area? Some of us did this a few times with decent turnout in the past. Most of the meets happen on the weekends that i can't seem to catch because of prior engagements, but it would be good to catch up with you all. Weekends are hard sometimes since folks got stuff planned

I know folks used to do the RuSans and TacoMac thing, but not sure if folks are still doing that.

Lets throw out some ideas

I'd be down. Mondays or Thursdays work best for my schedule.

 

That could work for me as well. I have been trying to get together on the weekends with no luck on my end. I had planned to go to the track this weekend and just could not fit it in. I keep a lot going on with a sick family member on the weekend. I would like to meet for a beer or two one evening. I will follow the thread and see what comes of it.

I say we plan it and see how many come. I vote for a Monday evening meet, but that's just me. What do ya'll think?

Hey Guys. New to the area/forum/thread and down for Mondays. What time is everyone thinking?

 

Monday also..how about this Monday April 11th? Now for a space with plenty of parking. I know the Chipotle on Cobb Pkwy (41) near Cumberland has plenty of parking since that big dept store closed down. The lot would be to the left if you were walking out of Chipotle. I park there to avoid door dingers. Just a thought. I think a good showtime would be 6-6:30pm whichever Monday we decide on

Monday the 11th sounds like a winner to me. I say 6:30 so it will give working people time to get there. Start the list and go from there I guess. Might not be a lot of people, but it will still be a chance to get to know the ones that do show.

I can't make it. I have to fly out to Tampa way too damn early tomorrow for work and won't be back until late Thurs evening. If it was on Friday, I'd be there.

 

It looks like it may be closer to 6:30 or 7:00 when I get there. Tied up waiting on a phone call. As soon as it comes I will be leaving.

sorry I couldn't make it Jitty. My damn professor took way longer than I thought with the guest speaker. Next time I'll defintely be there. In the mean time everyone should just get rc drift cars and come drifting

 

I guess I got there too late. I pulled up just after 8 and no one was there. My dinner ran late.

 

oh wow..yeah we left around 745 or so..it was cool..small crowd..we'll do it again, maybe try for a wednesday or something.
