I drive around a good bit, and only a few TL's have caught my eye. And I've been here for over a year... Saw a murdered TL awhile back driving on 26 just past exit 5, and it looked sick. Wonder if he/she is around here still-or was just passing by. And it is common for to see CLs here, but like someone said before, they are not touched beyond stock-which kinda sucks because the body style is beautiful... I was wondering if anyone new of a fabric place, i wanted to do a two tone interior with my gray interior in my TL.(some where in South Carolina)

 

I was born and raised in Spartanburg SC, not to far from you^^^^ and there is a few places in the phone book that does it. I’m not sure because never was interested in doing it. But I no longer live there! Been gone for a year now but I usually come back to the burg and visit.

Actually I may have... I was driving to Costco a few days back. And one pulled up to me with two younger looking guys in it. But Ill be honest-didn't check the car out to much. But it may have been you right off of 26 first light. Looks sick though. Love the height. Mine Isn't as dropped as yours, but I hope to make up for that with some 18s-thinking that 19s will be to much, cause the roads here suck- at least in my opinion. I was thinking about going with 15% tint on the windows and a 5% strip on the front , and 5% tint on the rear... you think that's to much for South Carolina?

I'm usually in Columbia SC every other weekend and I've seen a few TL's and CLs cruising around. Never had a chance to stop or wave to them but if you see a black TL, tinted windows/windshield, NY plates, chrome stockies....that's me

Anyone know where I can get alignment done? Car is dropped and I stopped by some place in Spartanburg- and the guy wanted 200 bucks just to align the front wheels... Got a chamber kit that needs to be installed for the rear, but im clueless as to where to go, to get the job done right... Please Help... I get my alignment done at Firestone. Just be sure they have the new hunter machine and you'll be all set. I paid $99 for lifetime alignment the guy wanted $150 and I kept saying no until he said I'll do it for under $100 haha couldn't pass that up!

 

Just go to fire stone. If your car is to low and won't get on a rack. Than bolt&James in Spartanburg has a underground lift

 

Also 200 is over priced for an alignment . Walk into a shop and act like you know everything about cars so they won't rip you off

 

Just make sure the guy doing your alignment knows his shit though lol don't want a rookie doing that.

 

Would Bolt&James install my rear camber kit for me? that way the rear is properly aligned? Where did all the TL's go in Spartaburg/Greenville area-never see anyone driving around.

 

lol i don't live in Spartanburg anymore. Just there one in a while. I use to live there but recently moved to Atlanta, and I rarely see Modded TL/TSX here..

Bolt and james would prob install it for you. but its not that hard to install. ou should try and tackle it your self....

 

Let's ressurect this thread and get a meet going. I keep seeing more and more modded TLs in the area.
