The rain forecast is now 80% for Saturday. I wasn't looking forward to a raincheck. Although the parking deck idea is awesome! Except I was gonna be the super nice guy and bring food to cook for everybody at the park.

 

They don't know their ass from a hole in the ground this far in advance (hopefully ). The last I saw was rain in the morning, but clearing. This will probably be one of those last minute things.

 

I hope that any rain is a Friday evening into Saturday morning thing. (we do need it)

Well damn it... I was really looking forward to go to the meet this weekend. I had thought our game this weekend was cancelled but I was wrong. I will be at Duke University all weekend.

yea the cp deck is good for a meet not as nice of a place (no seats lol) but hopefully we can sqeeze this one in w/o the rain grrrr

If not, I'll suggest the end where the Atlanta Bread Company used to be - near Bed, Bath & Beyond - there are always lots of open spots in that lot.

I think I'm the closest, but I won't have time between now and Saturday to check it out. One of these slackers without a job or that works from home needs to step up .

roughly 2 months ago i swerved on an icey road (on alexander near providence) to avoid a deer. i wound up spinning the tsx around a couple times and hitting a couple curbs. air bags went off, car wouldn't budge, but i was scratch-free! they had to replace 2 of my brand new enkei wheels, worked the suspension/chassis back to health, but most of the time in the shop has been spent waiting on parts and trying to get rid of these damned seatbelt and airbag lights lit up on the dash

^ yea right i wish, bearcat. it's the collision center's parts car that they've given me since my rides been at their shop for so long. this thing barely has 60k miles on it and is about to go KAAABOOOOOM. seriously, it's a piece of sh*t!!!

UPDATE: to all those heading to the arboretum on saturday, I WILL NOT BE THERE. i just got back to work after 7 days off and a new project has come up. so i will be working late tonight, fri night, and coming in on saturday =(.

i will still attend the meet, but will be late. arboretum people might want to pm each other and make sure a route is planned to the meet.

I play baseball. I tore my Rotator Cuff and Posterior Labrum a little while back and had surgery. I am still in rehab. I am playing with the College's Club Baseball team for extra workouts until my shoulder heals 100% for Varsity.

As said earlier, those who are closer to the University Area rather than the Arboretum will meet at the Harris Teeter, roughly 4:00ish.

 

We could push this to closer to 4:30. I don't think it'll take all that long to get to the park.
