i put on roughly 19k miles a year. my average has been skewed, however, since my ride has been sidelined over the past 9 weeks or so =(. i think i'm more excited than anyone about the meet because i can't wait to get back in the driver's seat ... maybe we should've made it sooner.

I put about 65-70k a year on the car. I bought it in June of last year with a little over 30k. It now has 75k on it. It's all highway so it is nothing for it. The last car I had I never changed the brakes and it had 150k on it when I traded it in. It's all how the car is driven. Looking to get well over 200k in the Acura. Anyone find an extra cooler yet?

I'm not 100% sure I'll be there yet, but I do have a decent sized cooler I can bring up. I'll let you guys know for sure if I'm coming up closer to the date. The cooler is a standard large size, not a jumbo one, about 2.5 x 3 x 2ft.

going in to a specialty sports clinic today because i believe i tore another acl. just finished rehabbing the left knee and injured my right knee playing football last nite. what a bummer, it's been 2.5 years since i did any sort of organized competition and i collapsed like a whimpering fish. anyways, this will probably mean surgery which would sideline me for the meet. i'll keep you all posted.

Vinny, sorry to hear about the knee problems. That is the worst thing to recover from. I hope there is a chance you can still come to the meet. Time will tell I am sure.

Ok, so two coolers (one small one larger)are going to make it to the cookout. We still need a lot more so please guys, let me know if you can bring anything. I am sure warm beer is not that tasty.

To the guys who are under age.......I have no problem if you want to drink, but since I am responsable for you when you leave my house, I can't have you guys drive home. I know I sound like an old man but in the end it falls on me. I had a friend in NY that made that mistake of letting underage people drink and he was in serious trouble because he allowed them to drive home from his house and the cops got him. So with that said, there could be a lot of Acura's at my house overnight. I really don't want to sound like an ass and I hope you guys understand but you have to see it from my point of view. Thanks guys!

BTW, the 7*13 foot bar is just about complete and is ready for action. The pool is up and running, the gas grill has a full tank, so we are ready to have some fun.

mmade glad to hear everything is coming along well. after thinking about it a few times i do have a nice large cooler (99% sure). ill take a look for it this afternoon, havent used it in forever. any underage guys' girlfriends can ride with me, ill make sure they get home safe

Sorry I missed the last ones I had school but I am around for this one. Also please know I am going to do the best I can to clean up my TL before this but it has been in a college lot for about a year now and its not in the best shape. bumb right knee - torn meniscus, partial tear of acl, swollen, and in pain. on crutches now, as well as a knee immobilizer (i swear it feels like only yesterday i was going through the motions with my left knee before surgery). anyways, i'll need surgery, but not just yet. i'll rehab the damned thing myself and when the acl tears completely, then the surgery will be on ...

as far as i can tell i'll still be at the meet and am still willing to help you out (though it doesn't look as if you need it). update on the tsx, STILL IN THE F*CKING SHOP!

Ahh Eric, there you are.
Vinny, things are sounding a little down for you now. Try not to get down but I know it is rough for you so rest and get better man. As for the car, not sure what to make out of it. Sounds like it has a lot of problems that I hope they can work out. If not, sell it and move on. I have never heard of a car being in the shop for months on end. Where is this body shop?

shop is called jerry rhynes collision here in charlotte. the work there is guaranteed through my insurance ... i will not accept the car back with minor imperfections. maybe i'm being picky because i know my ride will never be the same again, but i want it to be as flawless as possible

Man, it looks like you guys are startin a good thing here in North Cacillac!!! It sux though it doesnt look like I will be making my way to Charlotte from Raleigh this next Sat, due to the fact that it doesnt seem like it will be a big meet, I would go though if it was a little more closer to Raleigh, anyone know how long of a drive it is to Charlotte from Raliegh? Anyways post some pics of some of the whips!!!

^^ Ha ha, Mine sits in the garage and there is room for 5-6 more in the driveway. The rest will be in the street. No worries as it is a small street with very few cars that drive in or out. My neighbors are going to be looking around going wtf are all of these Acuras doing here? I just hope the weather holds out because if it rains, it's a no go at my house. The past 9 weekends we have had some form of rain. I just hope the 17th holds out.
