. This the THE Charlotte meet thread!! What else is there?We could meet in the Midtown area (where the Target and Best Buy are and the Home Depot Design Center just went out of business); it's ten minutes from your house. From there, it's about two minutes to 77. Just as I was planning to do if I took the interstate from my house, we can coordinate to catch the caravan as it heads up to the mall.

Plans to clean the car up today got screwed up. So now it looks like I'll have to wake up extra early tomorrow to wash and wax the car. It takes me forever since I'm so freakin anal, so I guess no sleeping in for me tomorrow.

Nic - Well, they're meeting in Ballantyne at 7:30, and someone will be late, so who knows what time they'll actually leave. It'll take them a while to get to 277. I'd say we should meet at 7:45. Because even if they pull out at 7:30, they won't be to 277 in fifteen minutes unless they're going 80+. It sounds like you know the area better than I do these days (I've only driven through two or three times since they tore the mall down), so let me where specifically you want to meet.
Vinny - Nic's right, man, this isn't good. I'm sure you care about each other, but the constant drama/fluxuations/whatever you want to call it takes a lot out of you. Is she moving to Tampa or just going down to visit? Not being long distance would be great for both of you.

IM PISSED my cf hood had a bad spot on it! like 4" long and some other lil spots so my buddie that paints was helpin me out and we started on it at like 5 30 and he was realy tryin to get it right and didnt put the 1st coat on till 11 and i has to sit over night and i cant get it back itll 3pm so im rollin up with no hood!!

Well here is some bad and good news.
Good news: I washed and waxed my car and its been in the garage since 4:00. (I drove my dads G35 around tonight). Damn it looks good; not bragging of course. I had never waxed my car since I got it in August.
Bad news: My dad got called for a last minute trip to Seattle for business, he doesn't want to leave his G at the airport, so I have to take him to the airport...allllll resulting in me, my girlfriend, and my friend who is also bring a TL A-Spec NOT able to make the 12:00 lunch.
It sucks for us, but that should help a little with the overcrowding problem at lunch. My 2 car, 3 person group will be at the 2:00 shoot for sure though.

here it 6am and i haven't been able to sleep. I did the ole' 4 hour detail to the car last night,even had the flashlight in my mouth when doing the tires in the dark.
Jon - your shit always looks tight so I can imagine that the detailing machine that Jim brought over really made it sparkle!
Trevor - Like I said in my PM you will have some friendly competition with the blingest looking car
I knew you were going to bring it so i had to go the extra mile. That means waxing inside the door sills, inside the gas door, rain-xing all windows including the sunroof, all just to keep up with you brother
Jack - I hope we can all meet up on the highway and roll up there in one big crew...if you can keep up
