I'm gonna be super busy next month. I was hoping to move into my own place by January but since my dad has a lot of health issues I've got no other choice but to get a place with him, which will be right down the street from you Eric.

Also, my coilovers are finally coming in next week since they sent me the wrong rear setup . Wheels will also be painted a different color cause I'm not feeling the current color anymore (any suggestions)

Hey Eric what size (in inches is guess?) is your roof rack? I'm looking into buying one for this winter so I can take the TL up to App and go snowboarding but I'm unsure of what size to get.

The Xbox 1 Forza 5 commercial just made me have a thought…

All the window trim and every piece of trim thats on the outside of the McClarenn (or whatever exotic that it was) was completely carbon fiber. Has anybody on Azine used carbon fiber vinyl to cover their outside trim, or is that 5 years ago and ricey? I thought it looked pretty cool and if someone did every piece it might look really good. Could be a cheap easy aesthetic mod for a broke ass college kid like me. What do you guys think?

You can only really see what I'm talking about in the first couple of frames.

Real CF is expensive and the knock-off CF vinyl looks nothing like it.

Back in action son!!!

Good looks on putting the word out there about the impending sale of my Type-S. Just threw my Work wheels for sale on the BM.

I have been out of the game for a while now, started a family and other stuff had gottne in the way of my Acura-addiction, but hoping to get back into it sooner than later.
Parting out any of those parts ?

I forget the sizes of my roof rack but if you go to REI the Yakima book will have everything listed for you. All of the pieces start adding up and it becomes expensive. haha

So I was wondering if anyone is intersted in doing one more Acurazine meet before the end of the year? I know this time of the year gets busy so maybe it isn't possible.

I'm in. I won't be able to do anything the first two weekends of December though; moving on the 7th and graduation on the 14th.

Well phoo on you.....you aren't invited then.

You do realize next weekend is Thanksgiving weekend and the following two weekends you can't do anything and then we have the weekend before Christmas is all that is left?

There might be a rocket launch visible tonight between 730 and 915. Look towards northeast Virginia.

Ill be home the weekend 30th and the weekend of the 14th of December until January so I'm down for a meet sometime in those days… I think we have a family trip planned to go up north home to buffalo but that would be closer to the week of Christmas/25th.

Might need a little help on the install? If I bought one and made the trip down your way could you help me/ teach me?

What're good brands to look for? I've only really heard AEM, K&N, and Injen

I think the best intake for the J series is the AEM V2. I could give you a hand with the install if you need it.

Super easy mod and probably one of the first ones that get done when the modding bug hits. As far as wheels, I have a nice set for sale on the BM right. Direct fitment for the 3g TL, comes with tires and TPMS...

Agree with Eric and Tyler, the AEM is one of the best ones you can get and the V2 is a beast.

Alright that would be great! I'm gunna shop around and see what I can find, so far I've found a K&N and an INjen intake for sale for decent prices on craigslist ill keep browsing for the AEM

MMM love me some chewing 'baccer

I knowwwwwwwwwwww I want a-spec so bad I just don't have $700 to drop on it at the time. I figured its probably going to have to wait until summer when I'm working full time again

I like those wheels might take them into consideration I've just had my mind set on a set of LM reps for so long.. Wheel shopping is so difficult

Were you lowered at all or just Type-S suspension?

What would be a good price for intakes?

So far I've found a brand new Injen on craigslist for $200 which I assume I could negotiate down. A used K&N on craigslist for $100 that I could probably talk down. And a new AEM on ebay for $225.

What do you guys think?

why not make your own?

I got 4" SS 90deg mandrel bend piping from verocious motorsports and a 4"x9" AEM filter...intake for $150

If you are stock, I would recommend a 3" intake...

Don't get the K&N unless you want people to ask if your car is turbocharged. It's stupid loud. I hated mine and sold it.

Haha I can definitely work a screwdriver..

So just those 3 things? But you recommend a 3" since I'm fully stock?

Sorry for all the questions haha just trying to figure out everything I would need to make it happen without finding out I'm missing a part mid-install

I understand

yeah 4" was a tight effin fit....I am running a small 11lb battery and still was a tough fit....

I would go with a 3" if I were stock

if you are skeptical, just get an Airraid DIY intake...its like 125 bucks and it comes with everything....
