Jon - are you going to have everything done by the meet? And Jim's right, Alex would love C&C.
Jim - good luck to your daughter at the recital (and I assume this means she won at the last one)!
Vinny - you'll love this...I might get boned on the headlights. The parts I ordered the other week had to be backordered...no telling when I'll get them
. The heads may or may not be done by the 7th
.

^They told me right after I ordered, despite it showing "in stock" on their website
. I hate when places do that. However, what I'm getting seems to be hard to come by (not many people selling it in the first place for some reason). They said/claimed it would ship in ten days, so if that's true, it'll ship sometime next week. However, I'm not holding my breathe.

I should have it done pending if I wanty to drop the cash down before I sell my rear aspec kit. Exhaust is already costing me some and the rear aspec is going for around 300 so I am sure I won't be able to wait and just buy it.
I know a local member who bought the very last ATLP exhaust and the ETA is next week. I am installing it for him and I am dying to see how it sounds. You will see another hot TL show up at the meet and I have to say, it's my new favorite color!
Eric was telling me there is about a 20 hp gain on the jpipe and precat delete. If that is true, I might have to invest in that as well. Jim I need to take your type-s for a ride and hear how bad the noise is as I am in my car all day long!!! Looking forward to the meet and yes, Alex and I will be attending the Cars and Coffee meet.

She has qualified for State the past 3 years. To qualify you have to be one of the 2 best in your level at the regional competition, so there is not a declared "winner" at the regional level.
In three tries, she has not won at State yet; runner-up once, maybe twice. We'll see what happens if she gets there this year.
Pre-Cat deletes alone can add 20 WHP. J-Pipe another ~10 - 12 WHP on top of that. Max gains are with a free-flowing catback; the TL-S exhaust with mid-muffler delete and after market resonator, I'd *guess* is around 1/2 - 2/3 of the max.

I'm looking forward to hearing the ATLP in person. It's resonated, right? Let me know when you're doing the install. If it's a weekend, I'll swing by. And we have a local member who doesn't have WDP or NBP? That's kind of surprising.
Thinking of copying Jim's set up and/or adding the cat deletes? I honestly don't know about the precat deletes without a blower, but the third delete should be fine. Jim's isn't loud at all. Heck, Eric's isn't that loud. I could see how someone could tire of it (just as with my set up), but it doesn't bother me at all. Good thing, too, because my next car will make my current set up look tame.
What do you drive? And there's a good chance you might not have the most miles. A couple of these guys are real road warriors.

Earlier in the thread, you guys were talking about meeting @ Moe's...where the crap is that? I'm from Fort Mill, we're generally scared of Charlotte and think we'll get shot if we go into the city hahahaha, so help me out here.

arstraub - sorry to hear about your dad. Hopefully he'll get better soon.
Nic - are you talking about Rusan's? I might be down for that...let me see how my morning goes. What time were you thinking so I know when to let you know by?
And you now, honestly, I don't think any part of town is really that bad; there's nowhere I wouldn't go. Maybe I've just been here too long and I'm accustomed to it, but overall, Charlotte is very safe.

Where is a good hotel to stay in close to where we are meeting up??? Hopefully I'll have the suspension done by then. I've gotta pm juniorbean I guess since he hasn't posted in here since I started asking about the Tein's. By the way, how is the weather up there?

Minions
.
blokhead - it's cold. And shoot JB a PM, he doesn't come in this thread that often. A hotel...I know there's one in Ballantyne (Ballantyne Resort), might even be some others. I'm sure one of the guys that lives out that way will know more.

Rack Rate at the Resort is like $245 per night.
Check:
- Hilton Garden Inn in Pineville
- Courtyard Ballantyne
- Staybridge Ballantyne
- Residence Inn Piper Glen
- Hampton Inn Monroe, NC
Those are probably best bet for decent rates and all within 10 or 15 miles of the meet location. Lots of places to eat & shop in the Ballantyne area.

Spilt a room for a couple of days with Blokhead???
Don't know if he cuddles, but it'd reduce room costs.
