I haven't had one either for about that long. I am basically dragging my rear tires along the road right now cause the toe is off so bad. I think I am going to remove my rear spacers and get rid of some of my negative camber and poke so that I can get the car aligned for taking it to the track this summer. Just have to find a good shop.

I think I saw the meet runs from 11-4. I will be there at least till 3pm for sure and probably stay till the end unless a lot of people start leaving early or the weather turns for the worse at all.

Cool. I've got pick up the car from the dealer in the AM, clean it up, and head out that way. Hopefully Ill get there around 230-3pm, but it depends on the weather. I think its a 80% chance for rain in Richmond, only a 50% chance for scattered t-storms in Va Bch tomorrow.

Did you park the car in a garage or is it ground level parking?

Started taking pics on the way to the event. We were arriving late due to slackerness. Jason's TSX started making a noise so he is checking it out here..

Quick thunderstorm arrived shortly before we showed up.

I will. Because I am in love with the 70-200.

And thanks. And I am not quite to the halfway point of coverage.

I'm thinking it's lunchtime now.

Yea, quite a few nice cars in the Va Bch area. I couldnt get out that way until 630 Saturday night, so I missed the Sumospeed event, but I saw a lot of the cars driving around. It was crazy seeing so many modified cars on damn near every street corner. I was loving it.

This one is my favorite though:

Dont know why, but the 9G Accord looks really good and those wheels elevate it to a whole new level.

That sucks you couldn't make it out. I would have loved to stay around with all those cars in town for the night but didn't want to pay for another night in a hotel. Plus wanted to get the jet skis in the water which I did get accomplished.

That new Accord was one of my favorite cars at the event. The front and sides are what the new TSX should have looked like in my opinion with the rear of the current TSX. Would have been the perfect Euro Accord.

So I need to find a really smooth secluded road. I need to do some data logging of the TSX and the best way to do it is a full 3rd gear pull from 2500rpm-7500rpm. Problem is I will top out near 85-90mph and I can't afford anymore tickets at all. So I ask anyone from North Charlotte/Huntersville/Mooresville area for any suggestions of where I might be able to achieve this and not get thrown in jail?

Cheapest option - find a shop with a dyno, strap the car down, do three runs while data logging. Make sure its a loaded dyno and not inertia. Your IATs may not be real world since you won't have the air blowing around/through the car, but its a small difference for a setup such as yours.

It may cost $50-80 depending on the shop. I assume you're able to datalog your wideband readings? If so, no need to do the runs with the AFR (not that I'd trust them since the sniffer is at the end of the exhaust). Its definitely cheaper then a ticket, or worse, an animal with a death wish.

Thanks Jason. I learned from the best. (you) xoxo Thank you for pushing me to start using full manual with the camera during all these years.

I just did a 2nd gear datalog in my brain leaving subway. It felt fast. It must be the excellent air molecules that have permeated our atmosphere here today. But seriously though, when I floored it the tl felt like a rocket. haha

I keep looking at the photo of the accord and it really is a pretty car. Honda did good and the owner of this particular one knew what he was doing. I hope to see it again at ECHM.

You are probably right. That means I would have to wait 3 weeks though to get any concrete information for the tuner to check out since I don't have any free weekends till then.

Also, just a heads-up... but we're heading up to Victory Lane again tonight. Have 2 guys coming with... so if anyone is up for a league night, let me know It starts at 6:30pm, so best to get there a little early to register. I should be there around 6:20pm or so... coming straight from the gym.

Let me know if you're interested in the next hour or so and I'll send you the details.
