Eric and Jack here is the place I was thinking about trying Thursday. It is pint night on Thursday as well so all 60 drafts are only $3 which is basically drinking for half price compared to Taco Mac. It also appears they have outside seating so we can enjoy the nice 72 degree weather expected on Thursday.

Not sure if you've ever been to Duckworth's, but that shopping center is where one of our stores was (it's now a Ben & Jerry's). At the time Duckworth's was located right near our store... so I was a regular for almost 2 years. Good food, great selection, and overall great place. I was actually just at this new location a few weeks ago and it's still awesome. Rob (owner) is a super cool guy as well and I'm glad things are going well. This new location is almost 3x the size of the old spot... and I was there mid-week and it was full. They opened one in Ballantyne last year so I have to go check that location out one day as well.

I think you guys will like it though. What time are you heading over?

I have been to the one in Mooresville a few times but it is very small and not the best design really in my opinion. From the few pics I saw on Facebook of the South Park one it is much larger and better layout. Our Thursday get together normally happens between 4-4:30 and goes till 8 or 9 so if you are few stop by and have a few brews.

LOL, I used to go to your store, long before I knew it was your store. I hate that it's a B&J's now as I don't really like B&J's. What sucks is that's the only ice cream place remotely near my house . If I'm craving something sweet these days, I have to go to Cheesecake Factory and get some cheesecake...even on days where all I want is some ice cream.

In that case, I may be able to come by. I work till 4pm... so could be there around 4:30pm. Usually people get together at like 6pm, then I'm stuck with the decision of waiting around for 2 hours or just going home. I'll let you know tomorrow for sure. That way you can keep an eye out for my truck since it's been so long I hardly remember what you fvckers look like


Yeah, I'm not a big B&J fan myself... but we didn't care who took over... it was whoever was interested . For a while there they were not doing so hot, but I lost touch with my contacts about a year and a half ago... so not sure now. Being I know what their monthly rent and everything is I know they need to sell a ton of ice cream to pay the bills... but the owner has multiple locations, so they may be doing OK on catering income to supplement the storefront. I've never seen any catering adverts or anything from them, but maybe the sales from their carts at the Wells Fargo Championship help carry them through the year...

I went to a meet in Atlanta after I first got the TL because there was absolutely no AZ presence in Charlotte at the time. That said, I will not be at the Raleigh meet.
