Yeah I like the match look too. But the lowest temp he had was 6k/. IM kindda of a fan of the color. Its not as blue as the 8k. But its not pure white like the 4300s. It looks nice. Ill just get the 6k d2rs to match. Then im off to get some springs lol

It's really easy. ya, bring some tools to the meeting. I had 8000k on my wife accord before and we didn't like it. After a while you eyes getting tired. And I heard that from a lot of people. Because of the blue color make your eyes tired. And I think 10k is illegal. But it's good for show only.

hey guys.. just found this thread.. cant make the meet on the 17th cuz im working again.. i want to have a mini meet to install stuff though.. i could host it at my house.. i have a 3 car garage.. and I just got my accord fog lights.. i want to install them soon.. I have been pmd by at least 3 memebers regarding installing/modding different things..

haha nice.. i think it may have to be BYOB since the economy is so crappy. lol .

I will look at my schedule and see when I will have time to have some people over on the weekend ..

anyone in orlando clear their headlights themselves yet? I have done it on my previous civic, but the headlights were easy and cheap to find so i wasnt too scared to mess with them.. and I did those successfully.. i want to try the TL headlights, but I want someone around who has done it already..

Yes, I wanna do my TL headlights also. I know Rsoetidjo did his headlights in the oven. He actually said it was easy, but time consuming. All I wanna do is that damn orange piece out, I dont want to paint the housing because I think it looks dumb on an SSM.

Got the LED tail light last week. But the parking light isn't bright enough. So a play around (changed the resistor) and end up did something wrong. Cuz now the lights isn't even work. I sended back to him today. Hopefully got it back on time before the meet.
I email a bounce of LED tail light manufacture and got a email back. They said they will look at into it. Guys keep your finger cross.

Sure..., why not. If you want to do it, it's really easy. Set you oven to lowest setting. Cover up the inside (side, back, and top)of the oven with aluminum foil. And the rack too. Lay down a damp towel on the rack and lay the headlight on the towel. put it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. and right away get it out and start pry it the headlights. Repeat that step till you get it off. Took me 3 times. Becareful it's going to be hot. Make sure you take the bulb and the ballast off 1st.
HAVE FUN...

You said when you bake your headlights...I forgot if you said to take all the old sealant out of them, or just leave it in there and then replace it with new.

You will want to scrape as much of that "old" sealant off so that when you reseal you won't have any leaks or any condensation in them.

IMO that is the most difficult thing about this process. Maybe not difficult, but a pain in the arse... But totally worth it in the end.
