I used to have an R8 headlight as my avatar.

It's a cool picture and its high resolution. It definitely looks more exciting than a shot of my RL with my shitty P&S camera.

That mustang is probably pretty fun to drive through the mud. I've seen people do that to that year Mustang before

 

I am back from my trip to asia!! Any new news for a local meet for us Orlando people!?

 

Test and Tune night at Gainesville was hot...literally. Best run was a 14.860 @ 95.13 mph (almost taking a 95 Mustang GT). Not impressive but some of the pro's said with the track being 110 degrees and 93 air temp probably adds about 1/2 second. Hope that's true. Chewed up a Civic that looked tougher than it was. Beat a pretty hooked up turbo Miata (factory turbo) 2 out of 3 times we ran together and his best time of the night was a tenth quicker than my best. I guess not bad for an auto with 19's and it was a blast. Saw a boosted 240 SX with slicks run a 10.5 @120 that nuked his transmission and caught on fire at the end of the track. And a sea of meat heads driving mustangs, of course.

My buddy's E55 AMG ran a 12.89...many jaws dropped when they thought somebody had let grandpa loose on open track night.

yep. one RSX showed up later w/ "Club RSX" stickers all over it. Never saw what he ran because he started late. Oh, there was a brand new Maxima there. That would have been a fun race for me.

 

Glad you represented AZ well........ I may have to check that out some time. I don't have any performance mods but it would be fun to watch.

 

Just run it. It's so much fun that you don't really care much about the #'s. I thought I would really focused on my time but after the 1st run I just wanted to beat the car next to me. Would be an awesome event when it's cooler out.

 

How often do they have this in G-ville?

Anyone here have the 3rd gen type S with wheels? My buddy have 07 TL-S. Hes looking for 19 or 20. He said he called bounce of places and they all said they dont have wheels fit for that car. Because the type S has Brembo brakes.

 

I might be selling my wheels.. 19" might be interested in a trade for his type s wheels.. pm me for my number..

 

Will it fit for the type -s. Because he said he has Brembo brake. and the brake wont clear the wheels

 

he may need spacers to clear brakes. lots of 6MT guys use these.

I hear you, coming back from Orlando yesterday, the readout read 105!

 

Come on down to cool South Florida. It was only 99. In fact, that matches the record for all of recorded temps in South Florida. We have never seen triple digits in Ft. Lauderdale.

However, I have seen them in NYC.

Let's not even talk about Vegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. *cough* 117 *cough*

 

Vegas is crazy hot but, when you 1st function in dry heat its not nearly as bad as how FL heat just sticks to you and drags you down into the pavement.

Every year I forget how much I hate the summer heat...

Don't worry. I'm gonna try to get him to come to the next meet. He said the last Orlando meet he went to was horrible, so we gotta have a good turnout.

 

So we deff need to make a meet soon.

 

That doesn't happen down here, you guy should try to come down to our meet in July. There will be a big turnout.
