i just posted this on another thread related to the xlr8 exhaust but just came across the so cal portion of the forum....

anybody live in san diego (i'm in the utc/la jolla area) or nearby so i can hear how the res or non res xlr8 catback exhaust sounds?? i only want the j pipe and catback exhaust (don't want to mess with deleting cats in cali) but can't decide how loud the exhaust is and this would help me out big time. from all the different threads either way it sounds like a great mod!

In the SD meets thread, there aren't any 3G TLs with XLR8 exhaust that I know of.

As long as you keep your stock primary cats and the exhaust has a resonator, it won't be super loud.

I've heard very positive reviews for it .. I'd hop on it or keep your eyes in the classifieds for a different setup.

xlr8 exhaust sounds effing sexy...

if you're afraid of it being too loud, go with the resonated set.
